Really great place, just like the photos. Nice people.
Let down a bit by the staircase to the loft. So narrow and steep, a ladder would be much easier.

La Maison Chantecler is well-maintained, charming, and comfortable. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Breakfasts are bountiful and delicious. Bus stops are close by and the neighborhood is very pleasant.

The place is highly overrated and prices very high for what you get. 1) The room we got was tiny (9 sqm) and the bathroom ( 1 sqm to stand) between the WC, shower and sink). Yet it is priced like the others and not shown on their website. Be sure to check the size of the one you're getting; the host should lower prices anyway. 2) The pics show a beautiful livingroom but beware it is not for guests. Hosts are just showing where they live. We were clearly explained that it was "their place". They should remove misleading pics. 3) The host did not inform us about the pool being open and heated in cold seasons. But she said upon us departing "too bad you didn't enjoy the pool" (sic). 4) Breakfast is priced on top, which made the overall bill very salty. Inside, you'll be eating at a communal table; outside (weather permitting) offers more space and charm. 5) We diligently emailed week in advance our arriving time in the early evening. The host called 6x throughout the afternoon putting pressure on us for us to arrive. Not the kind of smooth welcome and planning one would expect (not to mention when paying 180 euros for one night). You can get far better in Brussels on all fronts!

Ter gelegenheid van een concert van Laura Pausini in Forest National in dit B&B verbleven. Een prachtig pand met fraaie tuin eromheen. Zeer rustig gelegen en op korte afstand van de zaal. De ontvangst is vriendelijk. De kamer compleet en een goed bed. Kamer voorzien van airco voor de zomergasten. Heerlijk ontbijt, kortom een geweldige locatie. Voor ons een dikke tien!!
