Met our needs. Older place with lots of dings and dents, but comfortable and great staff! Monique was great o us.

I’ve stayed here several times. It’s close to the beach and pet friendly. It’s relatively cheap for a trip to the beach. The hotel itself has declined over the past few years. The service people are nice no issues there. It’s just very noticeable that the owners have no interest in upgrades or keeping it up. If it continues to decline I’ll have to stay elsewhere.

The room had a bad odor--some cleaning product that smelled awful. It was so bad I couldn't breathe and had to sleep in my car!!

Great stay. We were close to everything, so we never moved the car. We walked everywhere. Room was clean and comfortable.

The room smelled very musty. Had to buy Lysol spray and fabric softener sheets from a convenience store to hang around the room because no other stores were open. It took about 3 days to get the smell out. No other rooms were available. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The handyman was great and fixed it with no problems. Baby roaches were in the bathroom. The bottom of the bathroom door was scratched off by someone’s pet. Front desk didn’t know about it. Property needs to be upgraded.

We rented two rooms, months in advance. When we got there (after 4PM check-in) we were provided keys. The first room had a very strong odor of what I can only describe as urine-like. The second room had not even been cleaned and was a disaster. We were told to use the one (urine smelling) room until they could find someone to clean the other. We werent able to get into our second room until 3 hours after check in, only to finf that some lights didnt work, the sink's hot water handle was seized up and the toilet still hasn't been cleaned (Gross!). Monique at the front desk was apologetic and sympathetic, but there really wasn't much she could do. I know the price is cheap - but you get what you pay for. Stay in the Tybee Hotel nextdoor and enjoy the beach trip you expected. Not the one from National Lampoons.
