New Dap Hostel (in Grape Town)

Best hotel choice in Turpan, either for dormitories or private rooms. Rooms are very clean and modern. The owner is super friendly and helpful. They offer discounted daily tours and the hotel animals are extremely adorable. Nicely located in "oldish" town with plenty of shops and restos around. Perfect experience!

Wow! This hostel is incredible. The lady here is without a shadow of a doubt the single most helpful person I have ever met on my travels anywhere. She was helping people move through the province who weren’t even staying at the hostel! The tours she runs are great value (her husband took us on an amazing 12 hour tour-thank you!) the rooms are clean and the building is beautiful. I can’t recommend this place enough. There were families here, couples, friends. Everyone is welcome here. Stay you won’t regret it!

So warm and welcoming. The couple that run this guesthouse are amazing! They go out of their way to offer advice and ensure your stay is awesome They have plenty of trips available for decent prices. The use of the washing machine was very good and in the Summer our clothes dried very quickly! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends :) My son's loved the very friendly dogs and cats.

Great place to stay, the owner Lucy is wonderful and really looks after her guests. She even had her dad drive me to the sights I wanted to see and was very helpful. She speaks a little English so that just made everything more relaxed.

One highlight was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning views of the surrounding area, especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and chat with other guests. Overall, I highly recommend New Dap Hostel to anyone visiting Turpan. Its combination of great location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable stay.

The only hostel in Turpan. Can’t recommend enough. There is a shared tour you could join in a reasonable price. The host speaks excellently English which is a plus. Bathroom is clean. Room is spacious enough and it also has a decent table for online working. A few restaurants nearby

Very clean and tidy. The host has turned on the air conditioner when we arrived so that we could have cool and fresh air.
