Central hotel with welcoming staff.
Wi-fi not as good as on previous visit.

This is a hotel that keeps the charm of old Turin intact. Rooms are clean and, although my single was little lacking in space, have any comfort.
The breakfast, served in an amazing ancient and spacious room, is copious and excellent.
But, what makes this hotel special and worth of a stay is not the hotel itself but rather its staff. They are extremely kind and make you feel like having being a guest since forever. I really enjoyed it. Thank you to make my stay so enjoyable!!!

The Wi-Fi of the floor where I was staying was not connecting and even though I told the reception several times, the reception did not help to solve this problem.

It is clear when you walk through this historic hotel it has seen grander days but that only makes the experience more enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to stay in the room once occupied by the composer himself. The room was large with lots of outlets to charge our devices and had a kettle to make tea in the room. The room was clean, towels changed daily and the bed and pillows comfortable. The continental breakfast was a trip back in time with waiters in formal attire seating guests and offering made to order espresso or cappuccino. Breakfast options from yogurt to fresh croissants were more varied than most hotels at this price point. The hotel is extremely convenient in the heart of old Turin with many restaurants and attractions nearby.

Faded beauty great location and staff, the website I booked through advertised a mini bar and safe neither of which I had, but what I did get was charming staff , an aircon unit that worked and lots of character. It's so close to everything and I would not hesitate to stay again. There are many hotels with better facilities but you will pay much more for them, I would like to see tea and coffee making facilities this would make this a 5 even without the extra facilities just becuase the staff are so.lovely and the location is fab So.muvh history here

Reading some of the reviews on here I wonder what some people are expecting from a 3* hotel? Perfectly situated for the historic centre of Turin (and the huge market in the place de la republica. ) it’s an old world style of hotel boasting faded glory and all the better for it. Free parking and Wi-Fi as well! Staff are efficient, well dressed and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is magnificent!! A typical continental, but with loads of choice and waiter service if you want. For a 3* hotel it’s well worth a try.
