I usually don’t leave reviews, but after this wild experience, I had no choice. I was absolutely disgusted by the treatment I received at this hotel. I booked the hotel for a women’s retreat and interacted with 3 different people over the course of my time at the hotel. The first person checked us in and I informed him that Oke of the participants had COVID and wouldn’t be attending and the other person would be staying with me to nanny for my child. He said okay he would let the manager know and they would remove it from the bill. He took a deposit for the 5 rooms ($50 per day). He told us breakfast was served at the sister hotel, Zenses and we should eat there after yoga in the morning. He also informed us that while the website says bikes are complimentary, they don’t offer bikes and the beach is actually an hour away, not 30 minutes! What the hell? The next day, another woman asked for the remaining balance on the room. I asked if that was customary because I am used to paying that upon departure and she said yes, so I paid the balance. The day before our departure, I interacted with a 3rd woman who was very rude, impatient and said she was charged two rooms that weren’t even in my party for breakfast. I told her breakfast was included. I asked for her name. She refused to give it to me so I sent a screenshot of her to the manager and he failed to respond. She called the manger and both of them very rudely said breakfast was not included and told me they would be charging me for the room my nanny didn’t use and for breakfast, even though it was included. I requested a print out of my payment. They couldn’t provide it for a while and finally provided a document that was inaccurate I challenged them and questioned them over and over and they failed to address the issue or provide any type of resolve. I also advocated for bikes and when we took them out, the pedal fell off and we had to rely on the help of strangers to get us back because no one at the hotel was willing to come get us or support the issue. In addition, our rooms were not cleaned daily, despite the multiple requests. I had to come and get tissue, washcloths and empty the trash. Absolutely terrible service! I have been going back and forth with the “owner” for a while and he has ceased responding because there is 0 accountability. There’s also construction across the street constantly and wild dogs running around, it’s just not worth it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! IT’S NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!

We had a great time! Plenty of activities to do in plenty of things to see oh just a wonderful location. My only complaint is I was in Kassav four and the ice machine was never repaired the week I was there. I have to make that statement because it’s such an inconvenience to go to the other castles or qualifies so it’s all a complaint,

I had a lovely stay at Siwa hotel and enjoyed the spa facilities while I was there. While at the hotel I had a massage of 60 minutes that included a relaxing circuit with sauna, steam and jacuzzi which was super relaxing. The treatments were done by Montserrati which was super attentive and helpful while I was at the spa.

Highly recommend room #21! The breeze on the deck made the temperature perfect all day, all night, all week! If the cushion on the patio furniture was more comfortable I would have slept outside every night! Bed was comfortable. A/C worked good….we had to shut it off at night cause it got too cold. The staff was friendly. They have a Nesspresso maker in the room. Their Mojitos were the best of all the places we tried…and their prices were the most reasonable. The included breakfast was perfect for us. We like to stay in different places when we travel but would certainly stay here again!
Spaces designed for learning and expansion.

ผผู้เข้าพักTucked away in the bustling heart of Tulum, the Muare Hotel effortlessly transports its guests into a world of serene tranquility and unparalleled luxury. The moment you cross the threshold, it's as though you've stepped into a different realm, a realm where design aesthetics blend harmoniously with the natural beauty of Tulum. Each room at the Muare Hotel is a testament to the sublime fusion of comfort and style. The addition of an outdoor shower offers a revitalizing bathing experience beneath the open sky. Whether bathing under the warmth of the morning sun or under the cool gaze of the evening stars, the outdoor shower truly is a delightful touch. Further adding to the bespoke experience is a personal plunge pool that is a part of every room. A secluded sanctuary for rejuvenation, it allows guests to enjoy a soothing dip at their convenience. Additionally, the hotel's main pool, an epitome of artistic design, serves as an inviting hub for social interaction and relaxation. The wellness journey at the Muare Hotel is underscored by its serene spa, a haven where guests can unwind and experience revitalizing treatments. It's a sanctuary where self-care takes precedence, and tranquility is guaranteed. The dining experience at Muare Hotel is a gastronomic adventure led by the hotel’s remarkable restaurant, Gaudea. Marrying Mexican and Mediterranean cuisines in an exquisite fusion, Gaudea ensures a culinary voyage that appeals to every palate. A testament to their inclusivity is the thoughtful gluten-free menu, promising that every guest can savor this journey without compromise. The Brown Butter Fish with Toasted Almonds, in particular, stands out for its delightful balance of flavors, a must-try for any guest. In summary, the Muare Hotel, Tulum, is more than a luxurious stay; it's a holistic experience. The thoughtfully designed rooms, top-notch amenities, sumptuous cuisine, and the overall ambiance of serenity make it a destination in itself. For any traveler visiting Tulum, I strongly recommend the Muare Hotel. It's not just a hotel, it's a journey into a realm of luxury and tranquility. An unmissable gem, Muare Hotel stands as a testament to a perfect blend of style, comfort, and culinary artistry.
ผผู้เข้าพักA+++ Family Vacation (2 Adults, 3 Kids – 4, 5 and 7). You should not hesitate to book this super lux spot for your next vacation. We chose Conrad Tulum because it was on the CN Traveler best places to go. It did not disappoint. No way for the resort to be any more lux/beautiful or service to be better. Pictures are real and in some cases don’t do the place enough justice. Place is brand new. Further, the “kids club” was critical to our vacation. Shamara, Sehem, Ivette and Ruth all jointly run the kids club. It is a mix of indoor and outdoor activities from 945am-5pm (lunch with parents at Noon). Making pinatas, painting, reading, traditional Mexican art/crafts alongside pool (there is a specific pool about 2.5 feet-3 feet deep which is great for young children), beach, watersport, treasure hunts around the resort, etc. This is a very curated program for kids, exceptional in every aspect and also customizable based on what the kids may want to do. My kids are begging to return. Thank you to the staff at the kids club! Some other outstanding parts of the resort include morning wellness activities on the beach (Rafael is wellness coach speak to him on arrival for schedule/info) and the breakfast restaurant which has countless stations servicing traditional Mexican food cooked to order in front of you by chefs as well as a plethora of recognizable American breakfast items. It is a showstopper. Rivals the best breakfasts at the worlds finest hotels. Other restaurants on site (pan Asian, Japanese, Mexican, etc) are all superb. Guacamole, coconuts, champagne, wines all delivered poolside, beachside, etc. All the fine service you would expect. Some suggestions for the future as the hotel is brand new. Fix (or get a new) ATM that dispenses Mexican Peso so Americans can tip your exceptional staff in pesos without paying a silly exchange rate at the front desk. For the watersports company on the beach they need high end equipment to match the character of the hotel. For example, snorkel equipment must be the “dry” snorkels and they should have goggle defogger on site and used prior to each swim – price should be raised to accommodate this. Oscar is the local snorkel guide and he is REALLY GOOD. There is a massive set of coral reefs with tons of fish (some as big as sharks) outside the hotel but accessible only with the best equipment. (bring your own better yet!). Childrens food at the hotel/poolside could improve so that the kids have healthy and LOCAL choices (fruit/veg as sides, fun kid local fruit drink, less of the burger/chicken stuff that is on every menu in the USA). Guacamole ice cream cones (made from tortilla chips, delivered as fun snacks for free every day which the kids loved) were amazing and that should be on the menu! Finally, there are some comments about sea****. They have huge crews that come clean it up every morning (done by about 9/10am). Its not a nuisance. Probably by the time you wake its all gone and you never know its there. It
We were overcharged by this hotel and they refuse to refund even though I have provided all the receipts to back up this claim. Total overcharge was $173 for 6 nights. They claim that there is a special ”hotel exchange rate” although the exchange rate fluctuated only a few pennies during our stay. I will never stay at another IHG hotel in Mexico and I will surely be sure to see if this particular group owns any place I stay at in the future. With this review, I hope to deter folks in the direction of hopefully other honest businesses in the area. CHECK THE BILL AND THE EXCHANGE RATE!!
I think Selina in Tulum is a very great hostel. It is not a social hostel (i can only state about low season, september) and it feels more like a beach club/resort then a hostel. The MIA beach club was inactive as I was there, but therefore was free to access. The beach is amazing, directly in front of the hotel! The room was good, nothing special. The price is the only critic I would have. It feels like the hostel uses the „high-price“-attitude of its area. It could be half the price and it would be perfect. This is true for the rooms and also breakfast, 12€ for a mexican breakfast is just to much.
