I arrived in the evening in Melbourne and I wish the hotel has better information regarding their on-demand free shuttle. I researched previously but not much info found so ended up paying $25aud for a short taxi ride. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was surprised that they did not have my booking despite I had it pre-paid and received confirmation number. It took more than 30min to sort it out. Room was okay though nothing special. The air conditioning vent was blowing directly onto the head rest area on the bed, and it was rather uncomfortable, so I ended up sleeping sideways. Shower and bathroom were generally clean but don’t expect a lot of amenities. Next morning when I checked out, I was surprised the staff asked me again whether the room payment had been settled! Given the whole ordeal the night before, I was surprised that no messages were passed on regarding my booking! Good thing was Trip.com was quick to respond to help sort out the situation but little apology was given by the hotel.
Will I book this place again? Highly unlikely!
