Great hotel, very welcoming at check in. Bar/restaurant, inviting, friendly and warm with a well-stocked bar and open fireplace. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Only drawback was on entry the sash windows were open which made the room feel very cold and it took a while to warm up. Breakfast was very good, I do think that beans to go with it would be a welcome addition though.

A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant great. Very good location, walking distance of Truro & easy travelling distance of popular resorts.

Lovely building, inside needs a bit of tlc. Infact workmen were working on the stairs when we checked out which was a bit weird. Staff lovely.
This was our second stay as the first was not a great experience. The Hotel to befair were great and offered us a complimentary nights stay. We then booked 2 extra nights on top.

The only problem we encountered was the kitchen noise at 5 am as the room looked directly onto the inner courtyard.
Rubber wheels on their trollies and more consideration would help to reduce the disturbance.

Pleasant rooms in nice setting but personally I was disappointed with quality of food from the restaurant. Lot of effort went into the presentation but small portions and the ingredients lacked quality I'd expect for the price.

Lovely hotel. A few staff were a little over friendly...more like a pub greeting at one breakfast sitting.
Asked for full cream milk as part of breakfast, but they do not stock it !!
