Fabulous staff, very helpful. Valet parking €25 per night. Very good buffet breakfast. Spotless and very modern room. Great size. Very long dark corridor to reach room. Long is ok but I find the darkness off putting. A bit mean on toiletries but what is provided is good and big. Impossible to use the option of a hose shower as it would not point at you. Slippery shower floor especially for us older people. And when you are traveling an iron in room would be most helpful. A printed version of all amenities would be great. All the negatives are minor but overall resulted in a 4 rather than a 5. The location is definitely a 5 - walk to everything. Recommendations on restaurants were excellent. Yes we would return.

There was a big group of us, the hotel handled it very well. Including accommodating 20 cars. The hotel itself very clean very tidy. Well maintained. There is a nice bar area for the evening including a spa so it has pretty much what you need for a couple of days. The only reason I’ve put four stars is the breakfast isn’t great in the evening Food not much choice. But there is some nice restaurants, short walk away.I would revisit

The hotel sits right on the front of a beautiful canal and has nice views over the old town. Very stylish decor everywhere no expenses spared. Wonderful staff. Great buffet breakfast with large choice. We went to the beautiful pool: nice after a long drive. Also very nice sauna. We used the convenient concierge hotel parking. We had a beautiful spacious duplex room on floor 2 with wonderful views over canal and town. Noise insulation very good. Only DOWNSIDE WAS THE BED in master bedroom: very hard mattress with uncomfortable very warm topper. Very sad not to sleep well because of this in such a wonderful hotel

Big luxury hotel in an old renovated ‘hotel de maitre’. Keeps up with all the standards expected from a high end hotel. We loved our spacious room in soft grays, perfectly soundproof. The private parking in the basement should be included in the room rate.

Lovely, well-appointed hotel in Troyes, excellent location in the midst of sights. Staff is attentive and helpful, a**osphere is refined but comfortable; rooms are contemporary and have coffee and tea, bright/fresh bathroom; free Wifi. Parking is off the street; we did not visit the spa. Breakfast (extra) was a nice buffet, friendly server brought cafe au lait and tea right away. Highly recommend.

We stayed at La Licorne for two nights while exploring the Champagne region. All from arrival until leaving it was a treat. We were welcomed really felt welcome and the staff was excellent. The overall experience is 10/10. At our first night we got a handwritten note with around ten recomended restaurants and we went to one of these and it was very good. The staff is well aquainted with various things to do, what to visit, where to eat, etc. We travel a lot and one of us has ＞ 150 days in average per year for the last 20 years in hotels and this is one of the best hotels. The breakfast is fantastic! 10/10. Servicelevel is 10/10. We really do not know what can be improved at the hotel. Troyes is a town with vibrant restaurant life and there are tons of good restaurants and La Licorne is situated just at the old town. Perfectly located. Parking is smooth and at the hotel premesis. Being in Champagne Troyes is a good base and within a short drive several Champagne houses are available. The rooms are very well decorated (very classic) and as the hotel opened in January 2023 it is fresh. Beds are superior. We felt like king and queen during our stay and will surely return. J&C
