Had the pleasure of staying in the Hights hotel in April. We upgraded to one of the new premium rooms, and were not disappointed. Fridge, tea coffee facilities in room. Walkin shower. We only had B&B , a big shout out to Leen in the restaurant. Every morning, she had our well-done Bacon ready after our first day. ( it's the little things that make the difference) All the restaurant staff were lovely and helpful over our 4 days . Yes, I would recommend and would stay again. Note there are two types of rooms , premium ( just renovated) and standard.

Had a live band for a wedding that went to 2am! Hotels i’ve been at before had th music turned down at 11:00–my husband talked t th front desk but they weren’t going t do that. They say they have a/c but u can’t control it and it only seemed t hav heat coming out. I gave 2 stars cuz th staff were so nice. try t get a hotel in town cuz th taxis aren’t as easy to get out there. Another couple had th same problem. Ask th front desk t call instead of th app and it works better. Park is lovely. Oh yeah— th morning we left, they were making a lot of noise in th parking lot setting up stages for a harley davidson event! So, the hotel next door- gleneagles-does outdoor noisy events!

Yesterday we went to celebrate my parents birthdays and nephews to the Brassaire in the Ballingarry . We had a large part of thirteen including six energetic children. We were with a warm Kerry welcome by management and staff who gave us a fine comfortable space . We were lucky enough to meet the wonderful Kay who can only be described as a gem, human dynamo and absolutely Lady. In our party we had my son who at the tender age of four is a busy and sometimes demanding young boy but my God Kay should the diplomacy skills of a top UN diplomat . In one incident she retuned pasta to the kitchen because my small man does not like sauce on it and told him that seven chefs would sort it out with a smile and a wink . Once again at a dessert time when himself complained about something trival . Kay flashed into action like the superwoman she is bringing a new dessert and cracking a well timed joke . This woman Kay is outstanding and a invaluable asset to the wonderful establishment of the Ballygarry Hotel.

Everything was perfect from start to finish but my biggest compliments go to the staff, they were all lovely to deal with and are a credit to the hotel. I always say it doesn't matter how nice a hotel is, the staff can make or break it and in this case they were superb. We had dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night and it was great. Lovely decor and the food was excellent. Same goes for breakfast both mornings. We stayed in a suite and the room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I already can't wait to return to The Ashe. Hopefully during the summer. Thanks to All for making our stay so memorable.
