Hotel Sant March

This hotel is a hidden gem. Just tucked down a side street within yards of the old streets of Tossa. Yet a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Such a quiet and tranquil hotel. Built in 1956 and still run by the third generation of the same family. Originally an old cork factory, the hotel was converted and artefacts around the hotel still remain. It is not a contemporary furnished hotel but this only adds to the charm of the place. The rooms are comfortable and the air con is brilliant. Spotlessly clean and towels and bed linen changed everyday. Showers are excellent and there are bath tubs in most rooms. The owners are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They are always there for your needs but do not interfere. The pool is small and with about a dozen sun beds but we found that most people go out and about and there are only 29 rooms so never a problem being able to sit by the pool. It’s not a hotel that many stay by the pool all day, in fact at times we had the whole pool area to ourselves. The breakfasts are extremely good. No food is available in the day time or evening but the owners seemed happy for food and drinks to be brought in. No strict rules here. You actually felt like guests of the family and their home is positioned on the site of the hotel. There is absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the hotel. Even a few quirks like squeaky doors didn’t bother us. As for location, it couldn’t be bettered. Away from the modern area of Tossa and a stones throw from the old streets leading to the front. It was in every way ‘perfecto’!! We would return in a heartbeat.

Si vas a Tossa de Mar, este hotel, desconociendo otras opciones, es tu mejor opción (o desde luego, una de ellas). Tiene una estrella pero no presta servicios de tal, merece más. El personal es muy amable, dispuesto y agradable. Las instalaciones y la limpieza, inmejorables. El desayuno superó nuestras expectativas. Está en el centro de Tossa, cerca de todos los puntos de interés, pero es tranquilo y las habitaciones no son nada ruidosas. La piscina no es grande, pero para el número de huéspedes es más que de sobra y puedes desayunar en la terraza que hay al lado. Una experiencia 10.

È un hotel speciale perché è in centro storico di Tossa de Mar, nella zona pianeggiante, ad un minuto dai negozi e da decine di ristoranti. È dotato di piscina, non grande ma funzionale e di acqua salata, di zona prendi sole con sdraio ed ombrelloni, di parcheggio (a pagamento) ma qui a Tossa tutto si paga, nulla è gratis. Il valore aggiunto di questo hotel è la gestione familiare davvero speciale, il titolare è persona di grande educazione, sempre pronto a risolverti un problema o a rispondere ad una tua domanda. Le camere sono ben insonorizzate e comode, climatizzate e un balconcino utile. La colazione è abbastanza completa e l’ambiente in generale è gradevole e rilassante. Io consiglio vivamente questo hotel dal buon rapporto qualità prezzo e per la professionalità del suo gestore. La birra è eccezionale, non vedo l’ora di aver la possibilità di poterci tornare!

Buena relación calidad- precio. El desayuno que entra en la habitación muy bueno, todo fresco, mucha cantidad. El personal agradable y atento. Todo limpio. Muy básico pero correcto. Las camas cómodas. Hay toallas, secador y gel de ducha que huele bien. Situado cerca de la estación de autobuses y la playa no queda tan lejos. Recomendable.

Ambiente familiar, muy agradable. Habitaciones sencillas pero amplias, para dormir no se necesita mucho más, el baño y limpieza correctos. El trato muy familiar, muy agradable. La zona de la piscina correcta, con mesas, sillas y tumbonas. El desayuno variado y muy rico, el café muy bueno, como todo lo demás. Sin duda un descubrimiento muy agradable al que seguro volveremos. Francesc es un anfitrión espectacular. Esperamos volver pronto.

Hotel familiar con un dueño siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Desayuno muy completo. Piscina de agua salada. Céntrico y cercano a tiendas, restaurantes, playas y a la Vil.la Vella. Con parking (muy necesario en Tossa). Toallas de calidad gruesas y grandes. Merece más de 1 estrella

Hôtel familial à taille humaine avec agréable gérant parlant français et de bons conseils pour les activités. Idéalement situé à proximité immédiate de la vieille ville et des plages. Piscine agréable. Les petits moins : wi fi capricieux dans les chambres, Chaînes de TV en espagnol et climatisation partiellement efficace. Mais le bilan est largement positif. Je recommande!

El personal muy simpàtico y amable. És un hotel muy acogedor y apto para celíacos. Cada mañana nos daban varias opciones de desayuno sin gluten. Muy buenos mojitos :) Majissimos! Se nota que són del pueblo y se preocupan de que estes agusto
