Premier Inn Torquay Seafront

The beds are known to be very comfortable and the facilities are of a high standard. The car parking was adequate and reasonably priced. The food was of good quality and of adequate variety. Cleanliness was very noticeable throughout, given the turnover of guests at this time of year.

Stayed for 4 night over Christmas, the hotel was clean and the staff on hand to great us, we arrived early but our room was not available to check in early, they did offer to change our room but I had requested a certain room and did not want to move. We were still allowed to check in 30 min early. We had a premier room which are based in a new part of the building which is either a walk along a large corridor or walk round the outside through the car park. Our room was great, very large with two windows, the room was clean, bed was your standard premier inn bed very comfortable. We had a fridge and coffee machine, problem with coffee machine is no coffee pods anywhere to be collected. The hotel was very quite apart from the room above us had an elephant staying in it that did not understand stamping across your top floor room at 4am might just wake those below up, but like clock work this elephant woke for its nightly piss and stamped across the room and back. I would stay here again, we had a great stay just do not eat in the Restaurant, many better places on the front. Ultimate wifi not so ultimate, it kept going off on devices and then requesting the code which you can not use again.

Great location for beach & town centre. Had large room at front of hotel with two windows (that opened) overlooking the seafront. Just perfect! Paid for the breakfast 3 morning & this set us up perfectly for the day. Bus stop literally just down the road to access Paignton & Brixham & easy 10 minute walk along the seafront into the centre. 3 nights car park cost £10.50 - bargain!! Can’t complain about anything!!

Great location and the premier room was well maintained. Breakfast was up to the high Premier Inn standard. The only thing not quite up to Premier Inn high standard was the wifi. We had standard, in and out and quite slow. We stayed previously and the hotel is well situated and car parking easy. Will be back in2025.

Everybody complains about the parking and rightly so. But Premier do nothing about it at all. Hotel guests should have priority over restaurant guests. If the car park was full when we returned in the evening then we were expected to use a public car park which we would again have to pay for. The main car park should be classified hotel residents only.

I stayed with my sister to see a concert at princess theatre. As there was only a double bed my sister was going to have the duvet and I the sheet. But the duvet was covered in stains. Also there was no remote for tv in our room. There were stains on the carpet. Some of the windows didn’t open and the soap dispenser in shower didn’t work. At night we didn’t get much sleep as we heard footsteps above in the middle of the night and very early in morning. There was no phone to alert anyone to this and when we mentioned this to reception they had no interest at all.
