Four Seasons Resort Hualalai

Four Seasons Hualalai is a gorgeous Bali-inspired open air resort that evokes a more relaxing and tranquil vibe than the other offerings on the leeward side of the big island. Dining options are excellent. Rooms incredibly well appointed with outdoor showers and great views. Highly recommend.

大島親子天花板。 5歲以上可以託管 kids club的面積也比Auberge大很多 5歲以下小朋友可以在大人陪同下玩耍 並且在酒店任何餐廳用餐免費。kings pond裏有3000種魚 水面平靜 安全 非常適合小朋友浮潛🤿 美中不足的一是房間多 人很多 服務不太到位 效率比國內差遠了 每天早餐要排隊等待領位 咖啡一般是快吃完飯才能上桌； 二是沙灘質量也一般 衹有中間一小部分適合散步 和拉奈四季的差遠了，但也完勝auberge完全下不去腳的沙灘。 總得來説算是大島比較好的酒店了

This was our first stay at a Four Seasons resort (or any luxury resort for that matter), and we had an amazing time that I have a feeling will be difficult to ever top. Everything was impressive. We loved how laidback the staff was, going out of their way to say 'yes' to our requests and letting us in on little experiences here and there that we wouldn't have read about in the brochure, and they were so friendly. The Manager's gathering in particular was really cool because we got to spend time getting to know many employees who we even connected with later in our stay (we loved Bea!), and no one ever seemed like they were in a rush to go do something else when we were talking with them. Peak hospitality. The food and drinks were amazing. Every day, the breakfast buffet had something new to experience, and it was all so fresh and delicious. All of the restaurants were great for dinner (we particularly enjoyed Miller & Lux and U'lu), and it was really cool that each pool and restaurant had its own cocktails and food to enjoy - it made us want to explore every one instead of just sticking to the one closest to our room. The view from our room was like a postcard, and the bed was so luxurious. I enjoyed seeing how the housekeeping staff would leave little personal touches like placing a flower I'd lazily left on the table, in a decorative bowl instead. I think the main draw to this resort for me was the King's Pond, and it didn't disappoint. Even when I found it 15 minutes before snorkeling was to close, the staff still encouraged me to get my flippers on and go explore, and I'm so glad I did. I made sure to come back later when I had more time, and it felt like I had my own private tour because no one else was swimming. The fish were so magical to swim with, and I didn't have to compete with the rowdy waves from the ocean! The marine biologist staff at the resort were SO COOL. They're very smart and good at what they do, and you can tell they have a passion for their jobs. Everyone just made us feel so special on our Honeymoon, which was impressive because I'm sure everyone who comes to the Four Seasons is celebrating something special. Finally, we were surprised to find out we were still able to enjoy the resort after checking out (and we had a very late flight). You're able to use the spa and golf hale to shower if you continue to use the pools, which was really convenient. We wished we had spent more time at the spa, we found out as a result!

We came here for a 3-night honeymoon stay at the recommendation of 2 friends: 1 local Hawaiian and another frequent guest. We were not disappointed. The Four Seasons has a brand reputation of service and class that is absolutely upheld at this location. The resort provides excellent amenities and resources at your disposal throughout your stay. We greatly appreciated all the attention and service that the Four Seasons is known for. The buffet breakfast is incredible and was the highlight of every morning.

Incredible hotel. Staff is so friendly and accommodating we especially loved working with Maggie and Noi at breakfast. Alex at the quiet pool took care of us every day and was so friendly. Ron the bellman was so great. They seemed to anticipate your needs before you even did. It was the perfect amount of action but didn’t feel crowded or confined. We loved to walk on the beach path. The only thing we didn’t care for was the manta ray experience. We may have been unlucky but it was cold and disappointing and we were bummed we left the hotel to go do it. The only other thing I would be mindful of when booking is that because the hotel is only 2 floors high, our ocean view room really was not an ocean view, you could see it if you strained, but being on the ground floor gave us the amazing outdoor shower. I just wouldn’t pay a premium to upgrade room to ocean view. We hope we can come back, it was our favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed and an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful facilities, poorly maintained. Rushed service. Booked a couples massage, prenatal for me and Lomi Lomi for husband. At check in they seemed confused and only could find one reservation but then were able to confirm the second. Went in to respective locker rooms. Women's had no attendant. I wandered around, figured out the lockers and found a robe for myself before an attendant arrived. She only took my paperwork and left again. I showed myself around the rest of the area, finding the steam room etc. Unfortunately the women's side was really in need of some attention. There was trash floating in the heated pool, towels piled on the chairs and trash in the plants as well. No towels were stocked outside and there were no cups left for water. Not exactly inviting to bathe in a pool full of used cups. About 10 min later an attendant came through and I helped her clean up the area, she was appropriately apologetic. Called to go back for massage and brought to singles room. Reiterated that this was booked as a couples massage. About 5-10 more minutes of scrambling and they were able to get our room together. The massage space itself was lovely and the treatment was good. Overall the whole process felt a bit rushed, the hotel had booked us at 5:30pm, and we must have been one of the last. Every step felt like we were being shuffled through without much care. Considering the expense I expected at a minimum clean facilities. Don't think we will be back for a service at this hotel, have had much better experiences at other Four Seasons.

My husband and I love the Hualalai Resort. We stayed 5 nights in a Deluxe a one-bedroom on the ground floor in the Beach Crescent. This is a luxury resort but still relaxed and unpretentious. Beach Tree Crescent Pool: The pool attendants are attentive, the ice water is replenished regularly without being prompted, and the food/beverage service is prompt. Always plenty of chairs available regardless of arrival time. The majority of the cabanas are first come first serve, and a few are reserved for the Villas. We noticed these get full almost immediately because guests do the "wake up early and leave a personal item on the chair to reserve and leave for hours" method. They have policies against this method and will gladly remove items for you if the cabana is left empty with no guests in sight for over 15 minutes. We did not spend much time in the other pools, but when we did, all service was similar to the Beach Tree. Beaches: I love the sheltered snorkel area in front of the hotel. It's nice to go snorkeling alone and not worry about being swept out to sea. This was our second visit to the Hualalai and we found the service exemplary just like our first visit. This is the type of place where "no" is not in the staff's vocabulary. Within reason, anything you need will be accommodated. It's expensive but the value lies within the service, the beautiful grounds, the plentiful food options etc... We will most definitely return. Tip: If traveling during whale season, keep your eyes peeled on the ocean. It is not uncommon to see whales breaching in the distance. We saw them almost daily as we enjoyed breakfast at the Ulu buffet.
