I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Is it fancy? No. It's a great value for the money and clean. I loved the teak carvings in the lobby. I I have two suggestions: 1) the women who worked at the hotel were very professionally dressed in traditional Myanmar clothing. The men did not seem to be expected to meet that professional standard. They served dinner in shorts and T-shirts. Shouldn't they also be in beautiful Myanmar traditional clothes? It would enhance the customer experience as their lack of standards seemed, well, slovenly. 2) there is an empty TV rack on the rooftop terrace that is hard to see as the chrome blends in with the surroundings. The rack and its sharp corners are directly at eye level. It seems like an accident waiting to happen. Still, this is a lovely hotel trying very hard to please the customer. Anytime, I requested something. Pronto. It was done.
