The luxury tent was a complete disaster. We were moved from one tent to the other because there was air coming in through the slits in the door at 40 F. This was at 11pm. The second tent that we were moved to smelled of sewage. This is their most expensive room and it is just plain terrible. Absolutely horrible experience.

We visited Anand Kashi for two days . Unfortunately we were not guests at the hotel ( it was full when we tried booking) but we were fortunate to visit and tour the premises also to enjoy the Ganga aarti . We were so impressed that we also visited the next day for dinner . All this thanks to Durgesh Patil who works there. The hotel is just magnificent - esp due to its location right on the banks of Ganga. One could not ask for a more serene and peaceful ambiance. We know that we will stay here for our next trip . The service is excellent as experienced during the dinner ! All in all we had two great evenings in Anand Kashi !

The ambience of the property is very calming and beautiful. I loved how you are sensitive to all the decor that you mindfully do, in alignment with your concept and principles. Thank you for the upgrade, since I had asked for a ground floor room for my mom. However, the big thank you is for no one even mentioning it to me until two days later. This is true hospitality and I really admire this. Each meal was delicious! Panditjee’s pujas thorough & not an eyewash (I would have kind of expected that in a hotel mandir). Your thoughtful little gift of Ganga jal in a kamandal was really a beautiful parting memory to bring home.

A small 24 rooms heritage property of Maharaja right on the banks of pristine Ganga is a great place to stay in Rishikesh. One restaurant serves great food of all variety though we found local cuisines not up to the mark of Taj, which I am sure they will improve after this feedback.
