Awesome place .. peace and tranquility personified... Clean and spacious heritage rooms ..Courteous staff .. fresh tasty food ... Thanks Shivani , Ashok , Sarthak , Sourabh for making our anniversary weekend special & also planning our itinerary filled with hikes and treks .. great fun overall ..Will be back again for sure ... PS : pls ensure u take good care of the antique pieces .. photos.. a small museum space to house them will do wonders to showcase the rich history and heritage of the bygone era. Had a time of my life experience celebrating my friend Anshul’s 40th birthday. This place is really nice and thanks to Sarthak for taking good care of us and all the arrangements. Food was really good and the views are nice too. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Heartwarming hospitality by their GM Shivani. Rooms were not good. Not as shown in the pictures. They need big time renovation as their prices are premium considering the location. Also, this property is at the main road so lot of traffic noise comes from morning 7 am and it becomes difficult to sleep. So, can try other options as well in Kanatal as lot of good properties and much better views

Good property, amazing food and heartwarming hospitality by their GM Shivani. What I don't like about the property was their rooms. The room that was shown or displayed in the pictures were different than what was allotted to us. The room was shown was very big and good space but the one allotted was very small, seepage everywhere in the walls and ceiling, washroom was very very basic with bad odor. The rooms gave feel of a Dharamshala, rather than a "Heritage" one. The property is situated on the road, so from morning 7 am there's lot of noise of the vehicles passing, but this is really which nobody can help. Otherwise, the food was very good, the hospitality was amazing. Attaching some photos of our room, the amazing candle light dinner organized by Shivani for us and some fur friends we made there.

Perfect location.Motor road just next to the hotel. Beautiful ambience,serenity all around at the lap of nature. Perfect place for spiritual seeker to observe 'Silence" and gain wisdom. Family and kids have enough space to explore around and get rejuvenated by "Shinrin Yoku"- Forest bath. Lot of excursion and recreation activities around to explore and enjoy the view of Himalaya. Heritage interior explaining about the Raja's traditional Garhwali Culture is something very interesting. Food is always prepared fresh and mostly used from the farms nearby. Shivani I met at reception who has encouraged me to visit the place and served so well professionally. So are the other team members. Much recommended for everyone not once but again and again.

Finding Darbar was an absolute revelation.  I have done a lot of travelling in north India.  And I'm confident that this hotel ranks among the nicest I've ever stayed in.  First things that you will notice is a clear view of the Gangotri and Yamnotri snow peaks.  A revived old heritage building. Walls that look like artwork. Clean bathrooms and rooms that are the right size. The staff's friendly faces and prompt service was observed throughout the stay. The food is on par, if not better, than anything we can find in Delhi NCR restaurants. Simply put, nothing more was possible.  We stayed for two nights, and we didn't encounter a single meal that we didn't enjoy. The fact that they follow the farm to table philosophy greatly contributes to the delicious and fresh meals they provide.  Of course, they have a skilled chef who was once employed by luxury hotels.  We received a brief tour of the plants on the grounds.  They were gracious enough to allow us to taste and smell some of the house-grown herbs. Excellent sunset views from every room. It is a short walk uphill to see the sunrise. A nicely lit area is available to set up a bonfire, enjoy delectable starters, and listen to music in the evening.  Can't wait to return and stay for a longer time at this must-see location.

Stayed for 2N/3D. Pros- Ambience and vibe of this place is good. In house chicken was good. They upgraded my room on request during check in. Cons- Felt rooms were overpriced as per the stay and comfort. If electricity is gone, they only have backup for lights and not for power plugs. Their breakfast timings are 8-10 and till 9 AM, their staff was sleeping. Had to miss my breakfast which they later co****sated for evening meal. No mini fridge is provided in hotel rooms. So I kept some cans in their kitchen fridge which were later missing/ replaced with some other cans. In breakfast their bread and sandwiches were horrible, couldn’t chew. Parathas were good.

Our team recently went to Chamba for our Annual Employee Meet (AEM) and had the pleasure of staying at the remarkable Darbar resort. Let me tell you, this place is truly special! It's surrounded by stunning nature and offers a peaceful a**osphere that's perfect for anyone who loves being close to the calmness of the outdoors. If you're a nature lover looking for a place to relax and unwind, you absolutely have to check out Darbar resort. It's like stepping into a beautiful sanctuary where you can escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just enjoy the tranquility of nature.
