It’s an older motel, the rooms are very clean though and everything worked. The private thermal pool was enjoyable, but not sure it was worth the cost. There are a lot of events in Taupo, usually at weekends, so it’s worth checking a variety of dates if your plans are flexible. I’d say it’s a 3+ star hotel, not 4 star, but priced as a 4 star. I wouldn’t return due to the cost.

Stayed here in peak season, Jan 3rd so you have to expect the $320/night price tag that came with it. Facilities were what you would expect from any motel, the mineral spa pool was fantastic, the weather was a bit windy to swim in the lake for us, so the spa was fantastic! A pretty busy place, everything was clean and tidy, eccentric dinnerware bit did the job. Check in was easy and the owner was incredibly polite and helpful!

Such a lovely place. It was clean, and fit for purpose. We were really lucky because we had unit 1 ground floor. This room had direct access to the tepid pool on site. It was just a short walk to the two hot tubs and a viewing platform of the lake and mountains. Our host was extraordinary - friendly, helpful, kind and we felt more like family than customers.

Super friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean and well appointed rooms, we had the 2 bedroom and it was very spacious with a great balcony. A 180’ view of the lake 🌟🌟🌟 Thermal bath was very good, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and cafes. Would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The motel is in a great location, set back from the main road so you don't hear the traffic noise, but just across the road from the lake front.
The thermal baths were wonderful to soak in too.
The staff were all very lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is very friendly. Seems outdated decors but not a problem at all. Easy parking. Very quiet and my daughter slept so good especially after the hot pool and spa.

Fabulous place to recover from jet lag with private mineral hot tub with our room Convenient to Taupo but not too close to town centre Would recommend to anyone just wanting a chilled out stay in a clean friendly comfortable environment with easy access to strolling along to lake front
