Our expection for a Belmond hotel like Timeo was very high, also considering our experience with other Belmond Hotels in Europe. That is why we were disappointed that it was not an excellent experience as we mostly have with Belmond

Guiseppe was the world’s kindest person! He went above and beyond to look after me and my mom and made out visit really special. The service and care we received was like no other and we can’t wait to be back. Grazie Giuseppe!

When you find a hotel and location that literally ticks every box and exceeds very high expectations it is something to shout about hence this review. Exceptional service from every single member of the hotel team, stunning views and the attention to detail is incredible, from the luxury products in the room, to the little handbag stools at breakfast and turn down service. Breakfast is just the most wonderful experience, the warm, professional service and attention from the staff is matched by the breathtaking views from the tables. Delicious food choices and we easily spent a couple of hours each day in utter heaven! Taormina itself lies just beyond the hotel entrance with all its ancient history, shops, cafes, the contrast from luxury tranquility to a bustling town makes it even more memorable. We shall return!

I stayed at both four seasons and belmond. The ground of FS is better but i do love the view from belmond. One thing that put me off is i prepaid for the room then changed room type. My travel agent told me i will get a refund if my final bill is less than what i Paid. During check out the front desk told me i couldn’t get back my money but after i showed him the email. he said working on it and other front desk person gurantee i will get my 288 euro back. 7 days gone by nothing happen. then 2 emails to the hotel later still didn’t hear back from accounting. Never ever experienced anything pike that after traveling to 149 countries! I would prefer to stay at FS instead of belmond
