Very unique place and great for photos. The rooms only have fans and not AC so fair warning. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially jemilah at the front desk and David in the restaurant. Carol in the restaurant was one of my favorite people.. she was always happy, professional friendly and accommodating and helped me feel at home when I was there. We would go to lunch at Taita and Carol would also work there and greet me with care. The staff at Taita also helped me with problems like Neomi and Jane. They made sure all my problems were taken care of. And Florence was a great in the dining area. She kept checking to see if I needed anything. I had a great time on my game drives with Ngumbao he was an expert driver and tour guide and I saw a lot of animals with him especially during the raining season.

The perfect get-away spectacular and peaceful. Truly unique architecture with superb accommodation. Amazing staff so incredibly warm, courteous, attentive and always ready to help. Thank you Martin for picking me up and for the most memorable game drive with sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalos and a wide range of antelopes all up close (was I lucky or what! ). He sure has a great passion for his job. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and lunch time dessert at Taita Hills. Also visited the farm as well as the museum and learnt a lot of history. Thank you Carol for always looking out for me and ensuring I felt at home during my stay. Big shout out to Jane Jemilla, Josiah and the entire team at Salt Lick and Taita Hills. In my customer service book of records you're right at top and for that reason I'm definitely coming back! You totally exceeded my expectations and I'm so glad I came.

One of the most memorable safari experiences ever. Enjoying the elephants from your room is definitely something to look forward to. The service from all the staff was impeccable. Special thanks to Martin, Cornellius, Ngumbao, Victor, Isaac, Elsie and everyone else. They all went above and beyond to give us a memorable time. I will be coming back soon. And the architecture is also 👌. The food too especially the desserts.

One of my best vacations was at Salt Lick Safari Lodge. The staff were very friendly, their service was exceptional. We were served by Isaac, Josephine, Dorothy, Daudi and chef Emmanuel. Very kind and helpful staff. They went out of their way to ensure that we had the best experience. The food was amazing, the room so quiet and neat. We got to see elephants up close coming for water at the water hole. There were also zebras, water backs, gazelles, buffalos, ostriches. We were not lucky to see lions, that's a good excuse for us to go back 😊 I highly recommend this wonderful lodge for a memorable experience.

Where do i even begin??,😊the best place to unwind and relax. Hospitality, top notch. Staff 👏👏💐🎉👌👌excellent. Chefs, best customer experience ever. Rooms-awesome. This is the place to be. From the time i arrived i felt at home. Carol, Martin, korbin, Josiah, jemila, Kennedy,,.. The chefs!!! Ooh my God.. Keep up the good work!!. I had the best birthday ever. We checked in with lunch ready in Taita Hills, the food is fresh and tasty, enjoyed swimming since we decided to check into our room in Salt Lick Lodge at sunset. The experience was magical, we experienced nature in it's realest form, spending the nights inside a park, there's a couple of times we could see wildlife as they came closer to the hotel. The sunset from the view point is 💯 magical, the night game drives is a thing to do. Thanks to the amazing staff, and to the chefs, you sent us home on full bellies, skipping our dinner at home 😂😄

Enjoyed the interaction with the shy and reserved animals, I can't remember the last time I was in the presence of animals and nature all at once. This experience has helped me to fall in love with Kenya more. Also finding out your establishment started in 1973, and the standards are still maintained speaks about the management. Say a big thank you to chef Anish(hope I said her name well), her service is top notch and she smiled the whole time. I definitely will come back and recommend your establishment to others. Amazing cannot fault this hotel the experience was surreal with the elephants, room were lovely, shampoo shower gel, water in the room and tea and coffee. Only had breakfast and evening meal as we were on safari and only stayed one night, food is very good and also the drinks. Staff are friendly would recommend this hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the beautiful scenery. The menu was fantastic, and I can't remember the last time I had such great meals away from home. The food was excellent, and our waitress, Crescencia, was incredibly professional. She kindly helped me take photos and videos of myself and my surroundings, all while keeping a warm smile. She is truly the best. The entire staff was very kind, providing the best hospitality I've ever experienced. My birthday celebration was perfect, and the cake was delicious.
