Really neat place with lots of cute touches! The location is great. I didn’t see anyone in the morning so I didn’t know what time check out was and couldn’t ask any questions about the area. Even so, it’s worth a stay.

Such a unique place - great interior design and attention to detail. The downstairs shop has a fine selection of items and the staff was very kind and helpful. My room was facing the street, hence noisy. However the earplugs helped. My bathroom was across the corridor and had a nice bathtub. If I come to Taipeh again, I would re-book, also because the location was very nice to explore great shops and restaurants

雖然是接近百年的古績，但翻新維護做得很好。
經典懷舊的裝修及傢俬加上純天的香氛中藥包再配上黑膠唱片機的音樂。完全沉醉其中。

房間有泡茶和黑膠唱片的體驗，燈光柔和，古早味濃。
初時還擔心近馬路太嘈吵和要共用廁所浴室，但房間有精油香薰和耳塞，洗手間和浴室都不用排隊
值得一提是旅社，有一隻可愛的貓咪，他會走進你的房間讓你寵幸

The Originn is a beautiful place to stay. The building is full of character and the decoration is cool without being over the top. Love that they have records and books to borrow. It is very relaxing.
The staff were super friendly and informative.
Didn't know before hand that the bathroom is a short outside balcony walk from the room so not ideal if you need to get up during the night.
Also I assume due to the age of the property the walls are super thin and you can clearly hear other guests' conversations.
Overall excellent though and we will be staying here again.

The cat OPAN is special. He makes the hotel more attractive withe the hospetality of wonderful staffs, with coffee.

Nice hotel integrated with a coffee shop on the ground floor. Old style building to live an original experience, room had the downside of not having a window. Shared bathrooms so you need to organise yourself. Very thin walls so could hear anything from the neighbours. Friendly house cat roams around the hotel

Great spot, the area is filled with beautiful old buildings and cool bars. It close to the train station and a great night market. The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended staying here while in Taipei.
