Hotel Murano

The amenities aren’t what they used to be. Allot has changed but the staff is amazing.

Great front desk and restaurant staff! Room was clean and bed comfortable. We’ll definitely stay again.

Location is excellent. I liked the lobby area and all the glass art though the hotel, but housekeeping could be improved. With ******* VIP status I got upgraded room with free drinks and breakfast which I appreciate.

Because our flight was canceled until 5am the next day, the original hotel we booked canceled our reservation. Hotel Murano was gracious to allow us to stay with a roll-away and check in right away. The location was great for my girls' gymnastics competition across the street. Only wished there was a little more water pressure in the shower.

I went to check in and the gentleman told me I could not use my fathers credit card for the security deposit because my father was not present to show his ID I understood what he was saying but he was not warm or polite about it and he continued to gossip and smile about the situation with his co worker when I walked away, he shut me down when I was frustrated and did not seem to care I drove two hours there from Bellingham and needed to be there for my daughters cheer competition the following morning at the time it was around 11pm and my options were limited and I had already paid for my room weeks before. The worker was not helpful or empathetic about the situation he kept telling me no ma’am anytime I tried to find a solution I was clearly very panicked and upset, it was terrible customer service with a very uncaring employee. The hotel was beautiful but I noticed a lot of the time during my stay no employees were at the front desk they were hiding out in the back for a long period of time and I overheard a woman even complaining about no workers never being up front she seemed very angry about the matter, also calls were rarely answered. I understand it’s a big hotel but it’s such a bad look with 0 room service and no employees around for help, I am also a VIP member I looked forward to staying at this hotel because I was assured great customer service care and that was not my experience at all. I will not be coming back.

I loved all the glassware on all the floors. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfy. Staff was super nice

The lobby and hallway areas of the hotel are very nice and stylish. Unfortunately, when you arrive at the rooms, you find a lot of maintenance that needs to be done. Cracks in sink, stained carpets, dirty air vents and windows etc. The bedding was nice though. Also did not appreciate being charged $150 for incidentals upon arrival, when there is nothing in the room anyway. They also said they would email a receipt for charges, and they did not.

Loved the glass art showcased in various parts of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful except for one very grumpy bartender at the bar Sat. night...maybe he was tired from making all the drinks for the cheer parents..dont know but he was rude to my husband when he ordered a drink. Other than we loved the hotel, our first stay there and will definitely remember for our next visit to Tacoma.
