My wife and I went for a staycation there for two nights, we didn't have a good experience regarding restroom, it was winter, after check in, went for shower but water heater wasn't work properly, either it's too hot or cold, and pressure fluctuating, i called the reception, they suggested me to put water controller on centre to get warm water, but it didn't work then i called them again and requested to change the room but it was negative, though they sent repair personal, which wasted our time. The repair personnel were quite unprofessional, his shoe wasn't clean, so made the washroom floor dirty, though they mop later, but i felt it's unhygienic, after fixing the water issue, the next day it came back again, the water issue was never solved properly. To note the washroom floor is quite slippery due to the wrong floor tiles choice, other than that staycation was average, hope the management will improve matters, at last thanks to them for letting us delay check out and airport transportation.

Amazing place to stay in sylhet right next to sylhet airport my room was beautiful I had the executive suit from my terrace you can see sylhet airport runway place taking off and landing also amazing view

Overall I had a pleasant stay. It's a great 5 star hotel. Check in and check out was smooth. Great reception, great service and vibes. Room is clean. Comfortable bed.
Breakfast was fine. This hotel is close to the airport and far enough away from the noise and hustle. I will definitely come again.

Excellent service they have provided, atmosphere, Room service and amenities are really good we are really very happy to stay here Mr Muhtasim and Sraboni are very friendly and they have provided tremendous services during our stay in this Hotel we wish this Hotel and there day by day development.

I came on a visit to Sylhet for a short visit. Had breakfast on 28.05.24. And came for dinner on the night of 29th of May. The hospitality excellent. Food was exquisite. Compliment to the chef Mr. Zakir Ahmed. Mustard Hilsa was good and of good size. Hostess Kabita and Mr. Rakib were good. Rafik served us well. A good night out with my family (2 Canadians, 1 American and me from L9ndon, UK). Dr. Hasanat Husain MBE 29.05.24

Stayed three nights. The service was excellent. The rooms are clean. There is a small movie theater. The breakfast buffet food was delicious. Sraboni and other waiter/waitresses took very good care of us. The only criticism I have is that the aircontioner has issues at night sometimes. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing time at the Grand Sylhet Hotel. Staff were all very courteous and provided great service, left no stone unturned; including concierge, reception, duty managers and restaurant staff. They were quick to assist with any request and truly went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay whilst in Sylhet. Lots of entertainment activities, especially liked the tea lounge with multiple offerings of tea from the London Tea Exchange and mocktails. Arcade, a few stores and pool were also available. The centre of Sylhet town was easily accessible about 10-15 mins drive, CNGs/cars easily found - hotel staff always helped flag down. We will definitely be returning.

Great hospitality. Clean pool. Good selection for both the breakfast and dinner buffet. The rooms have all the amenities you can imagine concluding ironing and shoe shiner even. A bit in the pricey side but corporate rates are good if you can strike one.
