Vermin. There was a mouse in our room. We were here for 2 nights. My wife and daughter were horrified. We changed rooms. They offered $40 for our troubles. I declined. They came back with $50. This place doesn’t care if you’re overrun with rodents. As far as I can tell, they didn’t even do anything about the mouse, so expect to see it if they put you on the first floor. Pool is full of leaves as well. Didn’t see any mice in it though. Avoid.
The staff of this hotel are amazing and keep us returning again and again. Some examples: the Assistant General Manager, Jeffrey Liberman, asked every day how our stay was going and was there anything he could do to help. (He was in a back office and heard my husband ask if they ever carry Coke products. He came out immediately, and went and got two Diet Cokes for me from the hotel next door!) The night staff member was so cordial when we arrived at nearly 1:00 a.m., after traveling for 25 straight hours, surrounded by unhappy airline staff and passengers. What a breath of fresh air! Another staff member even got us a bag of ice, because we didn't want to hear ice falling from the icemaker in the room all night. We are long-time Marriott rewards members. They upgraded our room without us even requesting it. We simply cannot say enough good things about the staff. The property is well-maintained, and everything is in a good state of repair. As always, the Marriott bedding was extremely comfortable.
Everything was great! The service, hotel room, and the continental breakfast was great. It also is right next door to a golf range and tasty restaurants. The amenities are also nice (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc). Showers are nice and the kitchen inside of the hotel rooms are pretty new. I hope to come back soon!
We recently stayed at this hotel a few days in Livermore. Pleasantly surprised. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing when you walk in, the rooms are clean, they all have kitchens with dishwasher and full refrigerator, and the beds are comfortable. Most of the staff was friendly especially the housecleaners, and breakfast area staff. There’s plenty of parking on site. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the fitness center or pool, we did take a look in both areas and they were clean and looked great. I think the breakfast choices were good, but redundant. The breakfast sandwiches had hard bread, but the bowls were good. I think everything was pre-packaged (sandwiches and scrambles) because of Covid,. When we come back to visit family in Livermore, we’ll stay here again.
Unfortunately we had a few issues with this property. Some were minor like no cookies offered at check in and a TV that would not turn on but others were more pressing like noise from the AC unit even when it was turned off, freezing breakfast room at the weekend when we were the only diners and 24 hours without warm water. To be fair to the property we were offered Points compensation but only after we complained, rather than the hotel being pro active and offering the compensation when the issue occurred. We moved to three different rooms during a 4 night stay. This property has a bit to go to reach usual Doubletree standards.

Get a workout in on your own schedule at our 24-hour fitness center and enjoy our outdoor swimming pool.
The young lady at front desk Zeonna was very welcoming , I got thanked for being a member and 2 cold water bottles after a hot day at work . She explained to me where my room was , what floor , the nearest ice machine & was just all around helpful and respectful ! Breakfast was great a lot of good options hot and cold . I would recommend this hotel, its cleanliness , its staff and all around everything ! I enjoyed my stay. Thank you best western I will come again !!
We had the King suite on the end on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. It was nice and big with a desk, sofa and two TV's. The bathroom is very large and the water pressure for the shower (over a large tub) was wonderful. The only negative thing I would say about the room is that it is quite dark. The breakfast area is very small but we were the only two people there at the time. They had the usual eggs and sausage and waffles plus cereal. No juice. We would stay there again.
Eevelyn kWonderful! The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is perfect, within a walkable distance to town, making it convenient for exploring the area. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and the beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. They clean your room every day, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. This place is also fantastic for families with children, providing a safe and enjoyable environment. I stayed there for a week and had a fantastic experience. Whether you're traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, this place is highly recommended for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
