This guesthouse has very friendly and helpful owners. The rooms are small, but clean and pleasant with a nice outside area to relax and enjoy the small garden. We enjoyed our short stay at this guesthouse.

The host is super friendly and kind. He helped us out with playing tennis and gave many good recommendations for restaurants and activities. We even got a free room upgrade which was amazing! We really enjoyed this place. Thank you so much!!

Superbly positioned in the picturesque town of Swellendam - quite, lovely accommodation - well appointed rooms leading onto a lovely courtyard Comfy rooms and beds with all the little touches to make one’s stay very comfortable Well recommended

Very neat and clean Room with everything we needed. Beautiful safe area as well as Parking Highly recommended and will definitely be back. Location excellent. Host friendly and explained everything nicely which was relevant to us.

Lovely location , beautiful view of the mountain. Enjoyed the outdoor areas in the guesthouse. Walking distance to shops and churches. Very neat and clean rooms. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating.

We appreciated the warm welcome we received and Marius and Rachelle's kind hospitality. La Rachelle was perfectly situated within walking distance of restaurants, the Saturday market and historical places of interest. We appreciated Marius' advice on where to find a good meal. The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We would recommend La Rachelle to anyone who is passing through Swellendam and looking for a good night's rest and also to someone like us who needs a base from which to go out and explore all that Swellendam has to offer.

We spent only one night at this establishment. Everything was very nice and clean and in working order. The host was friendly and helpful and the lady who was on duty the next morning was also very good. We highly recommend the place!
