After reading some of the reviews, we weren't 100% sure what to expect when we arrived at Evrika Beach but it was a cheap break at £400 all inclusive for 5 days so thought why not. We were both shocked by how much we loved this hotel and the Sunny Beach resort. Food - there is always somewhere open to grab food from the moment you wake up right into the night. We didn't arrive at our hotel until 1am and we were advised the all inclusive restaurant was open all night until 6am when they set up for breakfast. The food was brilliant, lots of options for breakfast, the snack bar by the pool had lots of hot food options which differed every day for lunch with a self serve ice cream bar! The evening meals were delicious and lots of varied choice from pizza, pork, chicken, vegetarian options, soups and lots of pudding choices. They also have 3 A La Carte restaurants on site which are included in the all inclusive package, you can book 1 visit for each throughout your stay at the desk next to reception. The Italian was by far the best, 5 course meal with a menu to choose from! The Asian was also really nice, again another 5 course meal with a menu. The only let down was the Mexican restaurant, it was okay but wouldn't visit that one again. Drink - 3 bars on site, including the beach bar and self serve coffee machines, water machines and soft drink dispensers open throughout the day. Lots of cocktails to choose from and spirits. Room - The rooms are really spacious & lovely! Maid came twice with fresh towels throughout our 4 day stay and tidied the room, clean and could not fault it. We were on a ground floor room in the C Block which was really convenient to get around the hotel and the pool and the balcony was still quiet even though it went out to the car park. You can pay extra when booking with TUI for a pool view or upgrade to premium guests which stay in a different block with another restaurant and bar along with a private pool but we didn't bother. The hotel backs on to it's own beach with free sunbeds and a bar which is in the all inclusive. This bar didn't have many options for drinks but did the job. We joined the music quiz one night and have to say some of the entertainment was really fun, the animation team are very friendly and try get everyone involved throughout the day at the pool playing games and in the evening. Lots of bars, restaurants supermarkets, and shopping stalls within a 5/10 minute walk of the hotel along the beach. As well as a pharmacy if needed. As the currency is LEV you get more for your money with the average £1 = 40p. Most of the bars only take of prefer to take cash but there's lots of places to change and withdraw money around. The only thing that let Bulgaria in general down a bit was the people aren't that friendly, but if you can get over that it's wonderful! Would definitely head back to Bulgaria and Evrika Beach!
