Melia Sunny Beach All Inclusive

This hotel is spotlessly clean, I have never seen staff be so meticulously about everything even the pool toilets were immaculate. The food was great you could always find something to eat and the choice of salads was amazing. My daughter’s favourite was of course the breakfast. My only downside I could never find any yogurts. Also a bit disappointed that not all the facilities were open as the hotel was busy, but you could always find a sun bed. Bonus was the private beach although we only visited it once. I would definitely recommend this hotel, thank you Melia Beach.

This hotel is very big and very busy. Due to the size of it and how busy it is, the management of all the services needed to be first class and it was. The pool areas had something to suit everyone as there are three big pools. Never did we have trouble finding a sunbed and there are notices all over telling you not to reserve sunbeds with your towels. You don't need to do this , but you still got the odd selfish people doing it. You could of easily removed their towels and you would of been backed up by the management. The dining rooms are very busy and sometimes it's difficult to get a table, but for us never ended up where we couldn't get one. Food was pretty much standard all inclusive. The cleanliness and size of the rooms was also first class. Location is also perfect for all things outside the hotel. All positive for this hotel, no negatives.

We came with a large group of people, booked via TUI. We paid £750pp for 7 nights. It is not worth more than this, it’s around the £600pp max mark. We had family staying in block C and they had newer showers and less chaos. Take the bus to nessebar old town, it’s 2 lev each way and well worth it

Just arrived home from a 14 day family holiday in Melia Sunny beach and we all absolutely loved every minute of our stay. The food is stunning with a wide variety available every day , the staff are all so pleasant and very helpful. We arrived late at night so the drinks and sandwiches were very welcome from a long day travelling. The rooms very spacious and bright and the rainfall shower was divine. The animation team were brilliant and really made it a great holiday, so much fun and getting to know people and the entertainment each night was spot on. I did the yoga each morning so a special word of appreciation to Papi from the animation team for that, especially with his meditations afterwards. The food in the snack bar is just so tasty. Best burgers and chicken wings ever. A 3 min walk to their private beach with bar onsite is a great added extra. Definitely will be making a return trip.

Stayed here for two weeks near the end of may. First impressions were good. The hotel is in a good location. Reception staff are very welcoming and nice, the cleaners who clean the room are very polite and friendly as are all the bar staff. Sunbeds and pool - plenty of sunbeds for everyone and the pool was cold to begin with. Weather picked up and it got hot so a cool pool was great. No need to reserve sunbeds. Didn't go on the slides so can't comment on them. The pool gets cleaned out in a morning and the sunbeds get hosed down, however I found that in the afternoon the pool has so much sand and bits in it. Entertainment - entertainment was lacking some excitement. The mini disco was ok for the children, only lasted 30 minutes. The evening entertainment was very repetitive. It was the same thing each week and lasted for 45 minutes. It just wasn't very entertaining. Pool bar- a choice of self service drinks are provided, pop, juice, coffee and beer. The guy that makes the food was so lovely. He was all smiles every time I saw him. Food- breakfast is nice, plenty to choose from. Lunch and dinner was very repetitive. I didn't eat much near the end of the holiday because I felt it was all the same stuff. The waiting staff weren't nice. I found them rude, they mock you, laugh at you and take your food and drink before you've finished eating. They constantly just stand and stare at you eating which is intimidating. I love sunny beach, it's my favourite holiday destination but sadly melia hotel is not a place I will go to again. For the price I paid for the holiday I expect a better service of food and entertainment. That was the let down. The hotel was lovely as a base to explore and just chill by the pool.

This stay was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Every member of staff at this hotel works their hardest to make sure your experience is wonderful. The food was lovely!! Everywhere was sparkling clean. Rooms were very spacious and modern, beds very comfortable. Bathrooms large and water pressure excellent and plenty of hot water. Service was superb. Entertainment was very good! Enjoyed every moment. Pools were great and slides fun!!! Whole family enjoyed. Would definitely come back!

Never again.... we have just come home from a one-week stay here. We are middle-aged with two children ages 11 and 12. We have been on many all inclusive 4 star Holidays and this was by far the worst. False advertisement of facilities on offer, take no notice. The hotel think its acceptable to caveat that 'facilities will be available dependant on hotel occupancy and demand, yes demand. I questioned the advertising with the hotel guest relations manager who is rude and won't accept any form of criticism. I have attached photos, this was the start of the school holidays on a £800 per person week long holiday. Under staffed, under resourced, heated pool freezing, 1 main restaurant no themed nights, just same weird concoctions daily like rabbit leg, swordfish and cuttlefish paella (disgusting) and 1 Indian restaurant with a small selection on offer, this was by far the best offering of food available, just how much curry can one person eat. The pool snack bar is not self service, if you like deep fried ribs, wings and hotdogs with chips you'll be OK. The Internet will tell you the snack bar is open till midnight what it fails to tell you is that the only thing available at this snack bar past 3pm is drinks! Drinks are served in little paper cups, pack some plastic cups they will save you multiple trips to the bar. The staff are awful! Rude... and very limited English. Lots of workers very young from neighbouring countries with very little hospitality skill. Our room was fantastic, roomy and couldn't complain until we had a power cut and the air conditioning was fixed on our last day! (Seriously!!) Sweltering heat for two nights with no air was not pleasant. Entertainment is just for young children, this hotel seems to think that letting a big bunch of kids on the stage every night to dance to chocolatte on repeat is entertainment. A LOT of corners are being cut at this hotel. What they advertise to the travel Company and what you get in reality are two very different entity's. The seagulls hound you for food and guests were taking it upon themselves to sound a hawk noise on their phones to try and scare them away.. just to be able to have a snack on the lounger. The new staff are not cooking the food properly, meat, eggs and fish was very raw at some meals. They also throw on activities like bowling, pool and water orbz with expensive price tags. I would absolutely not stay at this hotel ever again. Happy to answer any further questions that travellers may have, home feeling very .mislead and taken advantage of. Shame on TUI for continuing to advertise this hotel knowing that the information is not transparent. Neli the rep will tell you everything is in the small print. I've never ever needed to read small print!! What is advertised should be available. Sorry to be so negative and least constructive but I've been honest, therefor I do hopes it helps another family and that the hotel understands that this service isn't ok.

We stayed at the Melia the last week of May 24 as a family of 4. Two adults and two teens. Check in was quick and informative, our room was clean and spacious. We were in block A on a high level and had great views of the whole complex. As we were a corner junior room our balcony was a tad larger. The beds were large and comfortable, just the pillows weren't the best. The only downside was the drinks machine was placed outside of our room and made a bit of noise when in use but thankfully once it got to around 11pm most people didn't bother with it. Our stay was classed as being in low season, something that wasn't well advertised with our tour operator Tui when booking. We enjoyed our week at the Melia, we would return but in high season to see the difference. For our time at the complex there was only some things in operation. Restaurant in block A was open the whole time, that provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was 8-10am Lunch 12:30-2:30pm Dinner 6-8pm Block C opened on the 31st May and offers the same selection of food as block A. There is a late breakfast option but we didn't see what or where you would get that. The Indian restaurant was open Monday to Friday during our stay, food was nice in there. As the hotel caters for people from around the world there is a variety of food options from cold to hot. I found most of the warm food very greasy and meat very pink. I did manage to find something to eat at all times and loved the deserts section. The pool snack bar was a big hit with us, the lads on there were really friendly and the portions were decent. Pools and slides Three good sized pools and a couple smaller ones outdoors and one pool indoors. The pools are all very cold, the one outside Block C is slightly warmer than the rest due to the dark tiles on the bottom but is slippy. The two large pools outside blocks A & B are very deep especially if you have young children and these pools are near the entertainment area so please watch your children don't toddle off as its 1.7m in depth. The indoor pool is a good size but as I said it's freezing like the rest. The lifeguards vary on what is allowed. One allows floats and beach ball playing the other doesn't allow anything but swimming. Slides are good fun and open for 2 periods during the day. Morning 10-12am Afternoon 3-5pm There are a number of lifeguards on duty till around 5/6pm. There is a children's pool with shallow water and a cute slide. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the Pools along with ashtrays. Entertainment Children's mini disco 8:30-9pm Sonic arrives during the disco, I think it would be nice to see a few different characters as after day 3 you know the drill. Evening entertainment starts at 9:30pm for around 40 to 50 minutes. It was good, better than we have experienced at other AI resorts. There was a good range of acts ranging from magic, traditional Bulgarian, dance and variety shows. On our last night the animation team

This is an excellent hotel we had a brilliant holiday. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. The food is great. A large selection of drinks are included. There are coffee and hot chocolate machines outside your room. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. It is great for children and they even provide baby food. There are buses to get to nearby places such as nessebar or you can even got to bourgas for a day if you want to go further. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday.
