Studley Castle

Excellent location and facilities. All staff were courteous and patient, providing a 5 star service. Quality and choice of food was excellent. Our room was classed as a "large room" and certainly did not disappoint, we were located in the Studley wing on the 2nd floor and had the benefit of a balcony providing great views of the local countryside.

I stayed at this hotel with with 2 very special friends from college where we met 40 years ago . We had a marvellous time chatting, being entertained, great food and rink and the surroundings were beautiful. It was a bit too cold and wet for us to do the outdoor activities as all 3 of us are disabled and use power chairs, manual wheelchair and a mobility scooter. All of these were fully accessible to use round the hotel facilities including the spa. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them to assist us with. On arrival my scooter was taken out of my car and put back in again when I left. My case was carried into the hotel and taken to my room that I was sharing with one of my friends. We also booked facials and manicures before we left and enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon tea in the Garden Room that was just the best way to finish our weekend. I will definitely be back. All in all we had a fabulous time

My husband and I went for afternoon tea, which was a Christmas present from my parents. Lovely castle and surroundings. The afternoon tea with cocktails was very nice, four different sandwich fillings, scones, and cake, tea or coffee and cocktail each. Great selection. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely couple of hours.

Food was great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Beautiful Castle to stay in. Entertainment top class. Would recommend to friends . Very suitable for people aged 70 + although groups of younger people were there too. Good swimming pool and Spa.

Our first Warner weekend break and it certainly won’t be the last. The welcome from the staff was excellent hassle free check in and a lovely clean room. Great entertainment and excellent helpful advice and service from all the staff. Nice walks in the local area with plenty to see.

Our 3 night weekend stay at Studley Castle Hotel was simply brilliant. We had booked here because of the Kate Bush tribute band "Cloudbusting" performing on the Saturday evening and have to say that they were fantastic! The in-house entertainment team were also amazing - all of them great singers, and we particularly enjoyed the Irish themed show that they did. Having been to a few other Warners hotels, we can only agree with other reviews, in that Studley Castle is the best so far. It was a beautiful, elegant, comfortable well oiled machine of a hotel and our respect and thanks go to all of the staff that work hard to make it so. We have to particularly mention our wonderful waitress Gemma who genuinely was an absolute Gem and when we return (which we hope to do) we would ask to see if we could have a table in her section again! That leads me on to one final thing that has to be said - the food was outstanding. The quality of the ingredients and choice of dishes was beyond our expectations - you could not want any more variety at breakfast and the roast beef on our final night was the best we had ever had. Thank you all. We will be back.

We have been to 4 of the Warner's Hotels & they all have good & in a few cases not so great things about them. Studley Castle is our favourite so far as we couldn't fault anything about it at all. We found the room, bed, shower, the pool, the entertainment, the food, the grounds, the staff, the lovely castle & the location were spot on. Warners are not cheap by any means but in this case we think that we got what we paid for. We'll definitely consider returning after our next Warner's trip to Cricket St.Thomas in Somerset

One of the best Warner locations we have been to. Great for couples and small groups, fourteen of us went for a three day weekday break. Relaxed atmosphere lots to do, great choice of food and drinks. Local entertainment team were very good and visiting singer excellent.

The hotel is beautiful throughout with luxurious furniture in all the various communal areas, friendly staff and amazing shows, the talent of the on site performing staff was excellent and they are all so friendly and professional. Ryan just bubbles with energy and interacts so well to ensure everyone has fun. Hannah B, Georgia, Tyler, Hannah K and the 'New Dynamics' are all first class with wonderful voices and so much talent. Archery with Richard was great fun, he has so much knowledge and enthusiasm and gives plenty of time to each person to ensure everyone feels confident and achieves good results. We enjoyed a brilliant performance from 'Murphy's Celtic Legacy' Irish dance group, top class entertainment. Rooms are a good size, comfortable beds and all in pristine order, we had a balcony room which overlooked the beautiful countryside, fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge was an added bonus. Good choice of buffet menu for all meals although we did feel that there could have been a few more cereal options. We will certainly return.
