Castanea Old Town Hostel is a lovely hostel is the most beautiful location! The rooms are small, but clean. The hostel has a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here.

This hostel is located in a very nice area. The rooms are clean too. But unfortunately I do not recommend this place at all and if you care about your dignity I suggest you choose somewhere else. Although the staff were ok, but the behavior of the owner completely ruined my experience there. I had never experienced such a rude and disrespectful behavior anywhere else just to give a reminder to a guest about something he clearly did not know or simply missed. I even complained to the staff about her behavior and, without any apologies, they emphasized the fact that she is the owner of this place.

This was a very cozy place for us. lots of nice and chill people there, played games at night and hung out. It was a nice place to stay. We were able to go in the room a bit earlier even. In a beautiful spot pf the old town centre pf stockholm!

Would never ever book with them ever again, even with a full 48 hr cancellation the charged me the full cost of the stay. Horrible location to get to. Other places despite being non-refundable only took the deposit these people STOLE the full price of a 3 night stay. They are as thick as thieves!

Hostel idéalement situé pour un séjour touristique rapide à Stockholm car situé dans le quartier historique. Toutefois, la qualité du couchage est vraiment perfectible: lit en fer bruyant, matelas mince et inconfortable.
