Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central

After coming from a closely-priced hotel in Oslo, this was like a slap in the face. At first we had the smallest room, then asked to upgrade to the biggest they had because it was a depressingly small bunker. We knowingly booked the smallest room, but we didn’t realize how bad it was actually going to be. The bigger “best” room was awful. The heating wasn’t working, the room was very old with carpet floor, not super clean, and just gross. They switched us to another room and it was much better, but still not great. It’s like the Ryanair of hotels. You have the basics and nothing more. No kettle or handy things to use besides a hair dyer and a few hangers, no hooks in the bathroom to hang our towels (which you can’t get more of unless you pay), and bad lighting. The beds were comfortable, but squeaky. This room was cleaner, though still a little dusty and had a wooden floor, but the heating still wasn’t working. We had to ask the front desk for a heating fan. They did try their best to help and they gave us complimentary snacks as an apology, but I do not understand why this place has such a high rating.

The room did not looked like any pictures when you book. The bed is small for two person and mattress is worn out. Washroom is refurbished but there are alot of insects/bugs in the washroom. The room does not have windows and its always hot even tho the thermostat is at lowest.

Very convenient location close to Central Station and a few minutes away from Arlanda express. Attractions are also within walking distance. Room was comfortable and cozy. Also very clean.

Sehr tolles sauberes Hotel mit sehr guter Lage. Sehr zentral.

Good stay. Water flood when you shower:( you van se mold in the shower

The room is tiny and minimal. They only offer the basic minimum. Also, they only clean your room every 4 days. Amazing location though! The hotel is literally located right above the Arlanda Express train station. Perfect stay for catching an early flight. They also have PS5 but the controllers were on and off.
