We weren't sure where to eat but luckily for us, decided on Coopmanhuijs - great experience. The staff provided fantastic service, the setting and decor was stylish and the food excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Stellenbosch.

Stellenbosch is such a lovely town and this hotel is an absolute gem! Small and cosy, we loved sitting in the lounge in front of the fire sipping a cold beer! Our room was lovely, big firm bed and a lovely balcony. It was our honeymoon and they gave us a bottle of Cape Classic sparkling wine and a platter of fruit, a wonderful touch. We ate in Helena’s restaurant - wow! Amazing food and taster menu served be the knowledgable Zimasa. One of the best meals!!! Breakfast was amazing too. We had a drink in the evening, and were told, “go and sit down, this is your house while you’re here, don’t talk about paying now, sit back and enjoy!” So glad we did! Thank you Cooanhuijs!!

We had the pleasure of staying 2 nights here. The rooms whilst a little small had every amenity you could wish for. The bathrooms were also very well appointed. I believe each room has a balcony too. The hotel was full of charm and incredibly safe to walk out of at night being on the Main Street. The staff were all really attentive and complied very quickly with a request from us which was no fault of their own. The hot breakfast was fantastic but oh my goodness the fillet steak was the best I have ever had - it looked like a work of art and tasted divine. I will dream about it for a long time to come. Thank you so much.

We love staying at Coopmanhuijs, warm cozy property with great accommodation and friendly efficient staff, food was excellent as well. Coopmanhuijs is always our first choice for a stay in Stellenbosch.
