Mooi resort gemoedelijke sfeer.
Really enjoyed our stay :) Here is another hotel in Khao Yai that comes with a very nice and shady atmosphere, decorated in the English countryside style, with a large swimming pool surrounded by nature. We stayed here for 1 night in a Deluxe Room. The rooms are spacious, with bathtub and large balcony that you sit and chill. Good Vibes. Good Service. Friendly Staff. There is also a restaurant here name ‘Soul Kitchen’, serving food and drinks.
ผผู้เข้าพักIn Khao Yai there are three types of hotels: 1) Many quite local, inexpensive hotels of varying quality that cost ~B1000 (in other, non-touristy locations, these hotels would be B500-B600). 2) A few very fancy and quite expensive hotels. 3) A few hotels in the middle - nicer than #1, and less expensive than #2. Fortune fits into this nice middle category. We enjoyed our stay at Fortune, but it is quite expensive for what they provide. The Beds were quite nice (i.e. soft yet supportive) for this big Farang, and for that one big reason we paid the higher price. The room was OK, but nothing fancy. The included breakfast was quite basic, but edible. We choice to skip the breakfast after the first morning. While the gentleman at the front desk is *quite* helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff do their jobs, there could be more attention paid to making sure things are done well. For instance, our bath mat was pretty disgusting and when we left it on the floor to be changed, the maids just hung it back up. Broadly, Fortune could invest in some maintenance. Visitors should seek discounts, either on-line or in-person when they arrive.
ผผู้เข้าพักOur G4Fun group will plan at least one trip annually to cover different regions of Thailand. Our recollection was the last time we were in KY was 5 years ago. That time we enjoyed the expertise and assistance of one of the pioneers. He did all the planning etc. This is most likely the reason for Thailand being the top draw for all G4Fun trips every year. This time around, the trip was done through our regular tour agency. We found this hotel well placed in terms of location. The six golf courses selected were all within good travelling time. The hotel served buffet breakfast at 6am and there was no need to make a request to serve early to cater for our golf games. The breakfast spread was good although it is the same items every day of the week. Surely they can do by changing the fruits? At breakfast they offered the unique egg toast served in a clay plate.I particularly enjoyed this one. The front desk and other staff tried very hard to please.Sank at the front desk was exceptional. The facilities will appeal to families. The room safe deposit box is a challenge. Forget the soundproofing they have in place. There are massage shops and convenience stores all within walking distance of the hotel. The nearest shopping mall is some distance away. Grab exist but no drivers to take the order. Overall good stay at this tourist class hotel.
