Excellent, modern hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Breakfasts were very tasty and varied, with items always replenished promptly when they ran out! There's a snack bar downstairs that was open even late at night. Another plus is that for a small extra fee (50 PLN) you can access the spa center with pools and saunas, shared with Doubletree by Hilton hotel. On the downside, the price is expensive, and the hotel is somewhat far from the city center. Sometimes we had to wait longer than usual for a taxi. However, if you prefer public transport, there's a tram nearby - 15 minutes and you're in the Old Town. Overall, an excellent choice for Krakow. Из минусов, цена дороговата и то, что отель немного далековат от центра и бывало что приходилось подождать такси дольше обычного, но если вы предпочитаете передвигаться на общественном транспорте, то недалеко ходит трамвай — 15 минут, и вы в старом городе. В целом отличный вариант для Кракова. Думаю, что приедем сюда еще.

I really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. I was in a twin room with a balcony, bathtub, fridge, complimentary water, toiletries. Lovely, bright and clean, comfy beds and nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. The scrambled egg and little sausages were so tasty. The cakes were lovely with coffee afterwards. Also cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and breads and juices. Lovely and quiet, never heard a sound from other guests in their rooms. A real calm and relaxed vibe. There's also an outdoor seating area and a shop across the road. The tram stops are just to the side and are so easy and frequent. Ticket machines are at the stop, or you can pay on board. Don't forget to validate your ticket. Great base for exploring the Jewish quarter and ghetto, Schindler Factory Museum and don't miss the Plaszow guided tour, a highlight so far. Tram 3 and 24 takes you there from outside hotel and coats 4 zlotys. They are in the process of building a museum there, so it's going to be much busier in the future. Go now while its not as well known. I would definitely return to Columbus hotel, an excellent choice, enjoy!

This is a nice small apartment. The kitchen has a saucepan and frying pan with a few utensils, which are enough for basic cooking. The fridge is handy. The shower is warm and has good pressure. The air conditioning works. I was on the top floor. There's a lift. I had a balcony overlooking the cemetery. The basement has a washing machine but I didn't try it. It's about a 12 minute walk to Krakov Glowny station. From there, it's about 10 minutes to the main square and another 20 minutes to the old town. Communication with the property owner was good and generally fast. Contrary to the Trip listing (May 2026), this apartment has no front desk. As I later read in a review, it's self check-in. Unfortunately, the instructions weren't sent to me. I called the property when I was there and they sent them via WhatsApp. Make sure you have the instructions before you go! I wasted time trying to use the QR code on the front door. This is not for the apartment. I wanted to extend my stay but the property was booked. I left my water bottle behind. The owner arranged for the service staff to meet me the following day to return it.

The staff was very friendly and assisted me very quickly. Breakfast was great and I really loved the selection of local and international cuisine. The restaurant also had a very cozy vibe in the morning! Location was also perfect!

It’s a quaint hotel in an old building. The decor is quite beautiful and is probably its strength in my opinion, particularly the breakfast room. The staff was friendly and helpful enough. The shower was very slow at draining, making a pool to stand in which wasn’t the most pleasant thing. The location is really good though if you want to be near the main city attractions.

Centrally located in the old town and like a block away from the town center square (see pic). I arrived really early at like 8am and the reception guy allowed me to leave my bag before I came back after a full day of travels for check in. Now that I’ve covered quite a few smallish European cities I’d say when a hotel says it’s near old town it can mean either it’s close to places you can take pictures and eat but It can also mean there is absolutely no means of public transport apart from uber/bolt simply because the city is not planned in a way that allows trams or buses to cut thru. Bear that in mind.

PROS *Lovely spacious rooms with nicely refurbished bathrooms. *The breakfast area looks presentable with a fairly decent selection. *Bottled water is provided daily, you just have to make sure you hang the sign to request to clean the room. *Hotel is centrally located right by the square. It’s near grocery stores, restaurants, donut/pastry shops & souvenir shops. CONS *The carpets “looked” dirty & old, not very pleasing to look at but they’re not - just gives that impression! *The main downside for me is the noise. Our room was facing the front which is where pedestrians walk through to the square. Earplugs were supplied by Hotel but they didn’t make a difference. There were loud revellers until 4:30am daily, then once that ends, the delivery trucks & refuse collectors pass through which were just as loud! Needless to say I didn’t get a full night sleep for 4 nights. Overall, it’s a clean & very reasonably priced hotel. May I also add we are a group that booked 4 rooms. 2 rooms were in the quiet side but the other 2 were in the noisy part. Not all rooms are the same. However, if you can sleep through anything then this wouldn’t be as much of an issue as it was for me.
