We had an exceptional stay — truly an 11/10 experience. The environment was serene and beautifully kept, making it easy to relax and feel at peace throughout our stay. The hospitality was outstanding. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and easygoing, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming. A special highlight was the food, organic, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared using ingredients grown by the owners themselves. It had such a unique, wholesome taste that you simply can’t find outside. We would absolutely come back just for the meals alone. The location is also very convenient, with two major attractions nearby and just a short walk away to大地指纹, yet the space itself remains quiet and tranquil. Overall, a truly memorable stay. My only regret is not staying longer. Highly recommended!!!

The owner is impossibly nice abd accommodating, even organising to hold our bags and drive them to us at the end of our trip, as well as taking us to the panda reserve. I believe its the same owners as the other fancybpanda hotel around the corner where my brother and his family stayed. The food was fantastic, they literally went to catch a chicken and forage the wild vegetables for our food, you dont get fresher than that! The room itself showed a few signs of age but nothing youd complain about, it was incredibly cute with all the panda stuff and we slept well. Would recommend to anyone, incredibly convenient location, fantastic hosts, great food.

I was upgraded to a beautiful big very comfortable room with a wonderful views of the mountains and greenery which made my stay. The girl running the hotel very helpfully ordered me some soap to arrive when I was staying which I really appreciated. The mother cooked very nice food in the downstairs area. She also gave me a ride up to the panda base about 25 minutes walk away. This is very much a business run by a very nice family rather than a professionally run hotel. No laundry facilities and no cleaning of the room between 2 days but that was fine by me

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Conveniently located for visiting the panda park & gorge circuit. The owners went out of their way to help us, including dropping us at the bus station back in Ya’an and cooking a delicious breakfast of noodles for us. For anyone trying to find the hotel, note the location of the hotel is actually different to what is shown on Trip.com (very close by) see photo. If you’re planning to visit the panda sanctuary I would recommend a stay here.

The stay was perfect. The family welcomed me very warmly. I had a great room with a nice lake and mountain View. The dinner and breakfast was made with own meat and local vegetables. It a great stay to head up to the mountains or take a rest day and relax with the great views!

We wanted to see the pandas and visit Shangli ancient town so as soon as we booked the rooms the owner communicated with us pre arrival via wechat. The owner and his wife was very helpful and supportive plus they serve good food in their restaurants(authentic Chinese cuisine). If you do not know how to speak Chinese then you can easily communicate with the hotel owner via wechat. He even helped us book a ticket to Bifenxia reserve during the trip we walked down to the scenic gorge. He recommended we take a taxi to Shangli ancient town and from there we took a Didi to the hotel.

It's a nice room, clean, towels etc changed each day, just near the entrance of the scenic area. No complaints about the room but the hotel is really overpriced but there's not much choice in where to stay. Restaurant was chaotic. The girl on reception during the week was really nice and helpful. The girls on the Saturday on reception were useless.
