I had a wonderful stay at Wenlv Gusu Yard Donghuali. It’s more of a charming 民宿 than a traditional hotel, and that’s exactly what makes the experience so special. The service was exceptional. We had very heavy luggages, and the staff immediately offered to help us carry them up the stairs to our rooms. If you order food delivery, the staff will also kindly bring it straight to your room, and they were consistently helpful with any of our requests. They also prepare a healthy and delicious breakfast every morning, which was a lovely way to start the day. The location can be a little inconvenient at first as the 民宿 is tucked deep inside a quiet lane, but once you get oriented, you’ll find that it is actually very close to many popular attractions. We appreciated the balance - peaceful surroundings while still being within walking distance of key sights. Our room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with beautiful views of the courtyard. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

The location is vwry convenient, next to Guanqian Street. So a lot of local shops, cafes and food within 5 minutes walk. But the hotel doesn’t provide hair conditioner(so luckily i brought one myself), the rooms are a bit dusty and stuffy if the window is closed. But when you open windows- some days will have smell of barbecue, LuoSiFen coming from outdoor, so it made the entire smell and we couldn’t do anything about it for 2 consecutive days. There was one night- it was too warm despite lowering the air conditioning temperature in the room via the control, and when we checked with reception- the temperature is same for whole building so you cant control the air conditioning temperature, this made my stay unsatisfactory but the hotel’s environment & architecture is very pretty- very 江南风.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Suzhou Xunyi Holiday B&B, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Comfortable and Clean Rooms: The rooms at Suzhou Xunyi are nothing short of fantastic. They are spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously clean. The comfortable beds and serene ambiance ensured a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. Refreshing Swimming Pool: The outdoor swimming pool is an oasis of tranquility. Crystal clear water, surrounded by lush greenery, provides the perfect escape from everyday stress. Whether you’re doing laps or simply lounging by the pool, it’s a delightful spot to unwind. Breathtaking Views: Suzhou Xunyi’s location is a dream come true for nature enthusiasts. You can choose to climb nearby mountains or simply soak in the stunning views of the serene lake. It’s a paradise for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. Exceptional Hosts: The hosts, whom I had the pleasure of meeting, are truly remarkable. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every aspect of the B&B. They are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about their guests’ well-being. Affordable Green Tea: I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having green tea available at a fair price. It’s a small detail, but it made my stay even more enjoyable. In summary, Suzhou Xunyi Holiday B&B is a gem. The location is excellent as it is just a stone throw away from Guanqian Street. Plenty of good food (local delicacies) nearby. We enjoyed our stay as the staff was hospitable in checking with us amenities that need to be replenished. However, for the room type that we have chosen (with loft), it is not suitable for people who are above 1.7m height as we knocked on our head every day due to the ceiling structure. It would also be good that if the homestay's shower head water flow could be stronger.

อย่างที่สุภาษิตกล่าวไว้ว่า ”ใครตื่นก่อนก็ได้รองเท้าแตะก่อน” หลักการเดียวกันนี้ใช้ได้กับอาหารเช้าที่นี่เช่นกัน วันแรกที่ผมไปถึงเพื่อทานอาหารเช้า ปรากฏว่าไม่มีอะไรให้เลือก พวกเขาทำบะหมี่ให้ผมทาน มันอร่อยดี แต่หลังจากนั้นสองสามชั่วโมง ผมก็ยังหิวอยู่ วันต่อมา ผมไปถึงที่พักเร็วกว่าเดิมเพื่อทานอาหารเช้า และคราวนี้มีอาหารให้เลือกหลากหลาย นั่นเป็นข้อเสียเพียงอย่างเดียวคือ ถ้าอยากทานอาหารเช้าอร่อยๆ คุณต้องไปถึงที่พักแต่เช้า ห้องพักกว้างขวาง สะอาด มีกระจกบานใหญ่ ห้องน้ำมีไฟและเครื่องทำความร้อน มีอุปกรณ์อาบน้ำให้ครบครัน อีกสิ่งหนึ่งที่ทำให้ผมประหลาดใจคือ ผมลืมดึงม่านออกและออกไปข้างนอกในวันถัดไป เมื่อผมกลับมา ม่านก็เริ่มเปิดเอง ผมจองโรงแรมนี้ด้วยความเสี่ยงของตัวเอง เพราะผมไม่เคยเห็นรีวิวจากชาวรัสเซียมาก่อนเลย อย่างที่สุภาษิตกล่าวไว้ว่า พวกเราชาวรัสเซียคุ้นเคยกับการบริการที่ดีและมีอะไรให้เปรียบเทียบ ดังนั้นเราจะบ่นเกี่ยวกับข้อบกพร่องที่เราเห็นทันที โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใกล้สถานีรถไฟและสถานีรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดิน และหากคุณหิว ก็มีร้านอาหารอยู่ใกล้ๆ บริเวณนั้นเงียบสงบ ฉันชอบห้องพักและโรงแรมนี้ ลิฟต์เงียบและเร็ว มี Wi-Fi ในห้องพัก เครื่องปรับอากาศในห้องใช้งานได้ดี
