凯凯文范I was exploring Guizhou and decided to hike Fanmingshan. Compared to others, this was a reasonable price and distance to the scenic area. The immediate surrounding village 寨沙东 had some restaurants and stores (although I walked up the road to eat) and was 40 min walk to the entrance. A few other lodging choices are in more remote sections of the river, with only 1 or 2 store fronts or none at all；while a bit cheaper may have no easy transportation or drive options. I was the only person staying and got upgraded, and enjoyed their light breakfast in the morning. The room was well furnished and had a built-in mattress heater which was excellent in the winter. The owner also helped drive me to the entrance and also arrange the 35 rmb shuttle back to Tongren HSR. All in all excellent value and hospitality!

We booked the hotel quite last moment after contacting the owner, because they were extremely helpful securing for us the Fanjingshan tickets offline (because online tickets were sold out). Then they prepared breakfast and snacks for us before climbing the mountain. It is only a bit over a kilometer from the scenic area entrance. Our concierge Xiao Wu and his hospitality was beyond anything we ever experieneced in any hotel, he helped us organize a transportation, helped with translating, recommended the best restaurants in the area and even handled discounts for us. When it comes to the hotel itself - beautiful smaller place but with lot of rooms. The pool is nice relaxing treat after hard walking the main attraction in the area. Always clean and well organized. The only thing we did not understand was that big rooms had only one double bad, and room with two double beds was comparatively smaller.. I wish more international tourists would visit this area and this hotel in particular, the staff would appreciate practicing some English.. :-)

LLuca-MWe are European tourists traveling to visit Mount Fanjing and decided to stay in the nearby village of Zhaisha. We booked this B&B which is just as beautiful as the pictures, and the rooms are well-equipped with comfortable mattresses. Guests can also take advantage of a free laundry service, which I recommend for stays of at least two days because clothes are dried outdoors and it can be humid. The owner is very kind and passionate about his work. He prepared delicious fruit for us every day and he even proposed driving us to the Mount Fanjing gate, which is a couple of kilometers away. He recommended many activities, restaurants, and a local evening festival, which was a unique local experience. To get to the Zhaisha village we booked a Didi taxi from Tongren, which takes about an hour. Alternatively, the owner can arrange a private transfer or offer advice on public transport.

RRaghunath C G NairAmazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

GGrossiThe hotel is very close to the entrance of Fanjishan park ,just 10 minutes walking .The room was very comfortable, with the characteristics of a five star hotel, the breakfast was very good, particularly the noudols soup with mushrooms and peanuts and the bao buns both sweet and savory. All the staff were exceptional showing kindness and caring took care of us: the cook who cooked the soup at the moment, the maid who washed our clothes for free and above all the hotel manager Ao Bo who overcame every language barrier and took care of anything we needed in the room and in general in the village during our stay, and finally arranged a taxi for us to Tongren station. Thank you all!
