Highly recommend the West Virginia Courtyard! The guesthouse is cozy and clean, has hot water, and the service is excellent. The owner gave a guide of recommendations to do in the area, chatted with us, and showed us nearby places to eat. It’s also an easy walk to get to 邛海 if you decide to watch the sunrise in the morning.

The receptionist is super sweet and very considerate. She solved all the problems for a tired tourist and I do appreciate that she gave me a super quiet room with only birds and trees outside and I am so thankful for being protected from the other nasty guests. The rooms are just as advertised. Clean, quiet, wonderful. I will come back.

Staff are friendly, the room is very clean and the location is good if you want to be near the lake! Thank you

This was my second night at this hotel. Lovely stay. Please read my initial review for proper feedback of the property. Great communication from the owner. Having booked the second night separately the code was changed and I was not informed, so I couldn’t get back inside smoothly, but on contacting the owner, I received an immediate response with a new code which is great. Being an international traveller, a few days ago I did not have a mobile number here which means this could have been a concern for me as I would have been unable to contact the owner on the go and did not know the code would be changed to ask in advance. I’m sure the owner upon reading this will consider this and improve it for future guests that book last minute like me :) All great and I would stay again :)

Good hotel. Comfortable clean bed, working AC and hot shower (just wait a little). Walls could be painted.
