It's more the four stars than a five stars. The rooms are quite old the breakfast is a small buffet. Besides the location the value for money is not that good

We got married at The Pine Estate, the villa in Agia Marina managed by Poseidonion Grand Hotel. However we worked very closely with the Poseidonion team as they took care of most aspects of our wedding and we stayed at the hotel a few months before the wedding. The whole team of the hotel made sure this special event is an unforgettable experience for us, our friends and families. We admired their professionalism, their passion for what they do but also their friendliness. Zoe, Ioanna, Evanthia, Ilias and Dimitris all made sure we had the best time and catered to our every need, always with a smile and a good sense of humour. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The rooms are very luxurious but cozy - ours had a magical sea view and a walk-in wardrobe. The food offering is fantastic, and probably one of the best meals we had in Greece by chef Ilias Kiazoli. Whether it's for a special event, or just a holiday, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They will make you feel at home immediately and you will want to come back every year. We know we will!

The staff at The Poseidonion was absolutely amazing and made our stay so fun and memorable. They got us the best reservations, booked our boat and recommended the best beaches. The hotel location was amazing and central. By far the best property on the island of Spetses. Very luxurious and great food and drinks. The pools were beautiful. The concierge Zoe was the absolute best, she made everything so easy and found us the best boat to explore the island. Ilias was a sweetheart and helped us so much with our luggage and transport. The front desk team was always fast to respond to all our requests. Serena was the best host for the amazing breakfast every morning and always made us feel at home. Marilou was an amazing waitress at the restaurant and made sure we had the best meals. THANK YOU to everyone on the team for making our stay so memorable. Cannot wait to come back next year!!!

The Spa was fantastic! I got a massage from Sotiria and it cured all my back problems! The Spa was clean and very well organized. I couldn’t recommend it enough for those staying here! In addition, the hotel was very wel llocated and all the staff were incredible.

The spa on the property is top notch. Every therapist was professional and treated the three of us to the best massages we have ever experienced. Highly recommend adding a spa appointment to your visit after the beach or in the morning! Fantastic! You won’t regret it!

We were booked at the Poseidonion Hotel for 4 nights for a short break on the island. However our trip was cut short by a change of circumstances. The hotel concierge Zoe was excellent at sorting everything out for us to make a swift return home The hotel is extremely comfortable (deluxe rooms a tad small but adequate)and well decorated with a perfect setting on the seafront. Sitting on the front terrace was the highlight in the evening before going for a stroll or dinner. The pool is well kept and clean, maybe a little shallow for some. Sun-beds were out nicely and inviting. Breakfast was included in our stay. Beautifully presented with a mixture of sweet and savoury things classic Greek. Please don’t expect full on English/American breakfast although lots of pancakes and toppings available The nearest beach is a short walk away with no facilities (at the time we visited) but you can have a little swim and then go off for lunch. It’s a no car island so the way to get around is by quad bike, e-bikes or horse and carriage.

I just spent a few days in Spetses at the Posedonion Grand Hotel with friends. We had a wonderful experience, despite some technical hiccups, which were promptly resolved by a very kind staff always happy to help. We also appreciated the food, which was excellent, especially the spaghetti alle vongole, cacio e pepe and the fried anchovies. The hotel amenities are wonderful and up to standard. I also would like to point out the incredible professionalism of their guest relationship manager, Serena Palmerini, who made our stay unforgettable. Her sunny personality and her invaluable knowledge and advice about anything related to the island and the hotel were certainly very helpful and made our stay even more special. Any organization willing to work with her won't regret it. She is really one of the kind and I can only recommend her. I will certainly stay again in this hotel when back in Spetses.

I have travelled often, but this stay was special. Everybody should make this hotel on the beautiful island of Spetses a stop at least once in their lifetime.. The Hotel is beautiful and unpretentious with a large veranda where one can relax surrounded by spectacular vistas where you feel like you are part of the canvas. The breakfast is wonderful but what sets the place apart is the wonderful staff to a person led by Zoe the concierge who is pure gold and nothing was too much for her to organize including a spectacular day on the water transported by a beautiful wooden boat where we explored the water and ate like kings at a hideaway restaurant. This morning the Masseuse I had was amazing, literally a genius. There is nothing I can fault about our stay. I never write reviews but felt compelled on this occasion to extend my gratitude. Thank you to all at the Poseidion for making the stay so memorable. We are so very grateful. See you soon God willing. Paul Galligan.

Hotel is lovely, historic but elegantly updated and sited with its restaurant terrace overlooking a public plaza, and beyond, the harbor and views to the Islands of Dokos and Idra and the Greek Mainland. Rooms were simple but elegant — ours had a small but spectacular balcony view. The staff was really on top of it. The restaurant was really great, with a delicious breakfast buffet, great coffee. The lunch and dinner menus were the same and all the food we ate was excellent, inventively and deliciously prepared classics, a nice wine list, and a maitre d’ Serena who, as her name suggests, was a dream: elegant, gracious, friendly and welcoming. My wife and I had lots of nice chats with her and she kept the place humming without making any of it seem rushed. If past visitors found the restaurant in any way lacking, you can ignore the reviews because the current Poseidonion is hitting all the right notes in a kind of beautiful melody. Special shout out also to the brilliant and knowledgeable concierge Zöe who made the trip all the richer for her wonderful recommendations
