MMrEmzThe location is just off the main street running through Malang, makes the hotel less affected by traffic noise. One of the minor drawbacks of this hotel is the lobby drop off area and minimal availability of parking onsite.
The friendliness and helpful customer service can be felt as you step into the hotel, from the security to the receptionist and workers all radiating warm smiles. Our check in process was smooth, we were assisted to find an available room for early check-in before 1pm . The restaurant staff was also attentive and courteous.
The hotel felt relatively new, only a couple years old and in great shape. The bedroom had semi firm but comfortable mattrass, with abundant pillows. Delightfully we got a 55” LG Smart Tv, with the to-date streaming services available (Netflix, Disney, Prime, Vidio, Youtube) and also cable tv showing international channels (AXN, Japanese, Arabic, etc). The room felt very cosy for resting after a long day's work or travel. The bathroom, although only had showers and no bathtub, gave great water pressure and hot water. The only complaint from the hotel is perhaps due to the connecting door, we can hear the other room's door closing and opening loudly as well as some talking from the other room.
Hotel had an interesting gym for good workout, rooftop cafe/restaurant. Didnt try any of those facilities for this trip but hopefully for my next trip. This is my second stay at 101 and look forward to returning again. Also, right across the hotel is a Sara Bakery, which serves good cakes and bakery products, and has a full restaurant menu also.

The hotel exceeded their expectations with its luxurious ambiance, exceptional service, and stunning design. They mentioned how comfortable and relaxing their stay has been, making it the perfect place to unwind after their wedding. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Malang—whether for a honeymoon or just a peaceful getaway. Will definitely consider it again for future gifts!

ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed here for 4 nights. For a budget hotel with affordable prices in the center of Malang, this place can be recommended. The staff service was friendly (especially Mr. Alfon as the Hotel Manager, Dyan and the night receptionist, as well as the female staff at the restaurant whose name I forgot).
The location is strategic, close to Alun-Alun, KFC, McDonald’s, and the Kayutangan area.
The room was quite clean and comfortable — I recommend choosing the deluxe type at the front section.
