Massive hotel with 618 rooms, fresh and sea water pools and its own beach. Stayed here for two nights at the end of a small-group tour of Tunisia. Friendly helpful staff. Large rooms with all mod cons. Huge choice of food at breakfast and (buffet) dinner.

This is not 5* at all, I would struggle to give it 3* based on the lack of cleanliness. If you are looking for luxury, or an 'All inclusive' experience avoid this Hotel at all costs. The rooms and corridors are shabby, well overdue a refurb and not even clean! Rooms are nothing like the pictures They are not geared up for 'All inclusive', the buffet restaurant is the smallest choice I have ever seen, food is often cold and there are flies in the salad and dessert bars. Don't bother complaining to managers......they will apologise and be courteous, but do nothing about it. My family and I are flying home, we cannot stay here and waste out vacation days on such an awful experience. Total waste of money!! We booked with Easyjet holidays, who so far have been totally ineffective, they have said we have to pay for ourselves to fly home even though the holiday experience is nothing like what they advertise it as ..........come on Easyjet do the right thing get us home!!

Everything was nice during my stay at houria palace hotel I enjoyed the food , the service and the location of the hotel was cool I mean it’s located in tourist area

Check-In Experience: From the first day, the hotel was extremely crowded. We received the keys to our room at 4:15 PM, which was significantly late since check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM. We had to wait over two hours. It was noticeable that the reception treated tourists differently; they were given their rooms immediately upon arrival, but as Algerian or Tunisian guests, we were made to wait. Room Condition: We stayed in a bungalow, which was missing several amenities. The pillowcases were absent, the TV was old and broken, there was no hair dryer, and the remote for the air-conditioning didn’t work. Additionally, there was an issue with the toilet flush, forcing us to use the public restroom throughout our stay. We complained to the reception three times, but nothing was done to address these issues. Also the room was very small, with no sofa. Food: The breakfast was okay, but the lunch and dinner were disappointing. The food was not well-cooked, and the menu was repetitive, with the same dishes served every day. The lines were excessively long; for example, it took over 40 minutes just to get some fish. Also, if you go late to the restaurant you won't find anything to eat. Pool and Beach: One positive aspect of the hotel is its proximity to the beach, which was beautiful, and the pool was large and accommodating. Entertainment Team: The shows were decent, but some members of the entertainment team need to engage more with all the guests, not just the tourists. However, there were plenty of activities like aqua gym, kids' club, and ping pong, which was great. Bar and Restaurant Staff: The bar staff were good and attentive, as were the restaurant workers. Safety: The hotel’s safety was questionable. We encountered a woman who had her passport stolen while her bag was on a chaise longue by the pool. It’s essential to be vigilant with your belongings. Additionally, fights among guests were common; it wasn't unusual to witness four or five altercations in a single day. Location: The hotel's location is convenient, situated in Kantaoui. Wi-Fi : The wifi only works at the reception and it's poor. Checkout Experience: Given the late check-in, we expected a later checkout. However, a cleaning woman knocked on our door very aggressively. She was rude and impolite, to the point of almost starting a confrontation, but we chose to ignore her behavior.

Great Vacation come with a great hotel, what a holiday! Amazing place and amazing people great room and a quality service! Hoping to come back and enjoy this beautiful country once again and this time with more days to stay! What a trip man!!!
