We have recently been forced to cancel our holiday to Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonnysos because of the floods. We received full refunds from every hotel, ferry, car hire company, and airline EXCEPT THIS HOTEL(8kto guesthouse). They provided no service but kept the full payment, refusing to refund us. It was not humanly possible to get to the island because the airlines and ferries had shut down. We are very disappointed in their attitude towards their customers. This reflects a poor business ethic. We will not be returning to this hotel or recommending it.

This is a guest house and is situated up the hill by bus stop 1 (we don’t consider this a central location) It is accessible by many steep steps behind The Fresh bar in the harbour, or up the hill (towardsThe Windmill) not ideal if you are not very mobile. It’s the main route into town for mopeds so is VERY noisy, constant traffic. Whilst the rooms are spotless, they are tiny, no where to put anything, nowhere to put suitcases. Beds are very comfortable. There is no kettle (luckily we bought our own kettle, cups and spoon) their is no facility for breakfast. There is a fridge and some wine glasses. We stayed here for 4 days, couldn’t imagine doing 1-2 weeks here. We thought it was quite expensive at €140 euros a night, wish I’d researched better. Also our safe didn’t work so a nuisance having to carry valuables around with you all day. Lady on reception up until about 4 o’clock, she is lovely.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in questa deliziosa guesthouse in posizione defilata a pochi passi dal centro. Ottima l’accoglienza affidata ad Anna ed Elena. Accurata pulizia. Completamente ristrutturato. Efficiente e di buon gusto. Ottima soluzione da consigliare

Πάρα πολύ καθαρά δωμάτια.Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος ήταν πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο και στο λιμάνι .Πάνω από όλα όμως το προσωπικό ήταν άψογο , πολύ ευγενικό, εξυπηρετικό , πρόσχαρο και χαμογελαστό. Μόνο και μόνο για την εξυπηρέτηση 10/10.

Πήγαμε με το αγόρι μου Σκιάθο και προτιμήσαμε το 8kto για διαμονή. Η τοποθεσία ότι πρέπει, είσαι κοντά απ’όλα. Για αρχή η κυρία στην υποδοχή ήταν εξαιρετική!! Ήταν ευγενέστατη, πρόσχαρη και πολύ εξυπηρετική. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο, το κρεβάτι άνετο και η βεραντούλα ικανοποιητική. Είναι λίγο μικρά τα δωμάτια αλλά βολεύεσαι. Η κυρία που τακτοποιεί τα δωμάτια είναι πολύ ευγενική και γλυκιά. Κάνει άριστα την δουλειά της!! Μειονέκτημα αποτελεί ότι δεν διαθέτει χώρο στάθμευσης και ως εκ τούτου σταθμεύαμε το αμάξι μας σε μακρινή απόσταση.
