This hotel is minutes from the Skala jetty and on a beautiful sandy beach. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The WiFi works well in the restaurant (if not in our room). The host Zena, is warm and incredibly helpful. We will come back.

Spa experience. I visited the spa and it was got the most wonderful massage. The atmosphere was great, the facilities are small but beautiful and the massure was top class. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying or visiting the island. Service at the beach and sun beds is brilliant too. Fab drinks and food.

This is a great place to stay. You really can’t go wrong. The rooms are comfortable and well designed, the gym is new, the location is terrific (in a quiet area of Skala but minutes walk from the town and with a really nice view of the water. And the staff are super friendly. A perfect couple of days.

For me, solo trip of 2 nights in the third week.os September, Aktaion was a perfect hotel. Close to the port and a beach, very Guest Friendly facility, peaceful, quiet, comfortable with a great staff. The breakfast was amazing. And I enjoyed the most delicious moussaka at the hotel's possibly the best ever😇

I got severe food poisoning after eating their French fries, which must have been fried using old cooking oil. The reaction was quick and violent. This is the first time ever it has happened to me in Greece.

Minutes from the ferry terminal so very easy walk to get to the hotel. All the staff are wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a classic room at the back and we were very happy. It was quieter as it was away from the families that take over the pool area. The beach is in a little cove and although busy with families, was still relaxing and clean and we had free sun loungers and drinks service every day. We went home happy, tanned and relaxed.

Had very mixed feelings about our 2 night stay there. The lady that owns the place was very nice and friendly but same couldn’t be said for the other staff. There had been a storm the night before we arrived and half of our room lights weren’t working and despite several reminders it remained that way. We can understand that this is out of their control but atleast they could have apologized for the inconvenience etc but nothing of the sort or no indication of following up on it. There were mix ups with the laundry and to be fair they did refund us laundry fees but an inconvenience nonetheless. Bedding , mattresses need to be updated as worn out and breakfast selection was very uninspiring.

Just back from another amazing holiday in the Aktaion Beach Hotel. We were so well looked after by the staff, nothing is a problem. It is a lovely family run hotel, on the beach with a lovely pool. The breakfast was fab, we ate most nights in the restaurant and were very well looked after for lunch on the beach. I am making my booking for next year this week....
