My band Quarteto Nuevo had the pleasure of staying at the Historic Skagway in while we were in town performing for the Skagway Arts Council. Carl and Rosemary were gracious hosts and the accommodations were comfortable and charming. Breakfast was amazing and our hosts were so fun to talk to. We are looking forward to making a return trip!

Historic hotel on the main drag We were very pleased with our little historic inn. The rooms were small but comfortable. Rooms were named after the ladies who used to work there . The breakfast was very good. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay

Loved staying at this place. Nice and quiet away from the cruise ship docks and so much fun staying in such a historic place. Food was delicious and Karl and the staff very pleasant. Stay at this place, you'll love it.

Loved our stay here! Everyone was so friendly and Karl made it really easy to change reservation when plans had to change. Room was cozy and clean and bed was super comfortable. We played provided boards games and breakfast was delicious!!! Super fresh and fast service. Thank you!

Best accommodation I had in Alaska. The staff is incredibly friendly and they care about making your stay a comfortable one. The room and shared bathrooms were clean. The restaurant is delicious - I loved the halibut chowder. And the location is great, with its garden and plenty of seating area outside.

Cosy, little hotel, warmly welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. We got several recommendations over txt message before our arrival, helping to plan our trip well. We also got help from the owner himself to leave our luggage at their place while hiking 4 days in Chilkoot Trail.

We stayed in the Alice room which featured a nice private bathroom and view of street below. I would have liked to be a time traveler to see the views of a working lady during the Gold Rush! The hotel was delightful and owners very gracious and accommodating. The complementary hot breakfast was a delight and the dinner selections varied and wonderful. I highly recommend the seafood linguini! If you plan on visiting Alaska, I would recommend a stay at the Historic Skagway Inn!

Great location. A lot of history. Beautiful garden. The room was clean and comfortable. It had that Gold Rush era ambiance. Bed was very comfortable. Host and personnel were very nice and very helpful. Good breakfast cooked to order at the small restaurant downstairs. Excellent accommodations for Alaska. The only downside is the bathrooms/shower rooms are shared between several rooms. But this is why it is a historic inn after all. We would stay there again.

Honestly one of my favorite historic hotel stays ever. The room was so comfortable and both it and the bathroom were SPOTLESS. Restaurant was also great (I had the elk, my friend had the pasta) and Karl was so helpful in picking us up and dropping us off at the airport/ferry.
