This is an outstanding hotel which lives up to all the positive reviews and exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless, service attentive and food excellently prepared, cooked and presented. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Can't wait to return.

Nice hotel with cool hot tub outside. Very good food at the restaurant. Good base for skiers or heliskiing.

The transformation from the original herring piers where I played as a kid to the Sigló Hotel of today is exemplary. The hotel site with the small fishing boats coming and going just outside the windows gives it a flair of unrivalled elegance. Many thanks for the experience.

Since seeing the Siglo on a day trip to Siglufjordur in 2017 I have wanted to stay there. Now was the time to fulfill one of the items on my bucket list. It did not disappoint. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the harbour so you can watch the fishing boats come in & spot the eider ducks scrapping. The bed was comfy, nice bathroom, warm room and oh the view. We dined in the restaurant on both nights and had delicious food from a small menu. An excellent buffet breakfast was also on offer. Soaking in the lava hot tub outside was bliss and of course if you can tear yourself away there’s lots to see in this quiet corner of Iceland. Maybe I’ll never stay again but it’s high up on my list of good life experiences.

We can higly recomend Siglo hotel. Wonderful staff, good breakfast and dinner. Love the hot tube and my sea and mountain view from. Alot to do. Only miss the small Moet and mojito.
