B&B il Barbero

Everything is complicated in this hotel - communication, parking, ordering the breakfast, etc. The welcome was very rude. Also it was super noisy with the breakfast waking us up from 7:30am. I do not recommend this place.

We recently spent 3 nights at the B&B Il Barbero. It was a fantastic experience. Sara went out of her way to assist with all our travel needs and questions. Our room was spacious with modern amenities and a large shower. Breakfast was included and very good. We utilized valet parking arranged by Sara and it worked out perfectly. Roberto the valet was very kind and accommodating despite our getting lost daily. We highly recommend the Il Barbero and will stay again when in Siena.

From the moment we arrived to check out, Sara could not have been more accommodating. The room was fantastic and newly refurbished, the breakfast was varied and delicious and only located about a 10 minute walk away from Piazza Del Campo. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you!

We stayed at Il Barbero for 3 nights before and after a weeklong bike trip. Sara allowed us to store our bags and even had them in our room for us when we returned! Lovely hotel with large, modern, remodeled room and bathroom. The location is fantastic and Sara is a wonderful host. Breakfast is very good and AC worked great. We really enjoyed our stay and if we return to Siena will stay here again. It was perfect!

We have spent 2 nights in Siena and fully enjoyed the hospitality of Sara and her mother. Sara was very helpful and welcoming and we trully aprreciated her passion invested in their B&B. Location: The B&B is very conveniently located in centre Siena just outside ZTL gates. You are steps from everything - attractions, shops and very lovely places to eat. Sara helped us with several options for parking our car. We opted to park our car in her garage, which was highly convenient for us. The B&B. There is a three storeys hgh building, fully renovated during the pandemic in 2020, very tastefully furnished and with all needed modern appliances. The rooms are large, airy, clean and inviting. We loved the bathrooms ! The bed is also very comfortable. The house has a back patio, where you can also enjoy Aperitivo in the afternoon. Breakfast: Served inside or on enchanting terrace overlooking the beautiful Siena., the breakfast offered different and plentiful options. Overall, definitely a place to come back to. We received from Sara and her mother very useful reccomendations, and we especially loved the Osetria located just near their B&B - amazing experience.

Accoglienza fantastica, Sara ci ha accolti come se fossimo amici, ci ha consigliato molto bene su dove andare a mangiare e bere in serata. Stanza pulitissima con un balconcino con vista davvero grazioso. Colazione buona. Torneremo sicuramente 😁

Abbiamo alloggiato solo una notte in questo B&B, peccato perché ci siamo trovate benissimo!! Le camere sono ristrutturate in stile moderno con comodini che ricaricano wireless il cellulare. Anche il bagno è spazioso con una bella doccia, non scontato quando si alloggia in un hotel o in un B&B. Per colazione c’è la possibilità di attingere ad un piccolo buffet e di ordinare (la sera prima) alla carta sia cornetti, che toast, che uova strapazzate! Le marmellate sono fatte in casa. Sara è gentilissima e disponibile, sempre pronta a rispondere su whatsapp a qualsiasi dubbio/problema durante la permanenza.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo B&B e dobbiamo dire di esserci trovato bene e comodi. La posizione è perfetta per godersi il centro storico senza il trambusto, la macchina è parcheggiabile gratuitamente a Porta Laterina a 5 min a piedi e c’è la possibilità di includere la colazione a pagamento. La camera è sicuramente nuova, anche se non priva di sbavature. Il letto è comodissimo e il bagno molto spazioso, anche se una nota di demerito da citare riguarda il cattivo odore fuoriuscente dai sanitari (non sappiamo se è solo un caso, ma era doveroso riportarlo perché era particolarmente pungente). Comodini con ricarica wireless per cellulari. Balconcino con vista su Siena molto carino. Colazione discreta, ma ci aspettavamo di più. La riteniamo comunque una buona soluzione per alloggiare a Siena, da consigliare.

Camera bella, pulita con arredi semplici ma nuovi. Bagno nuovo ma senza finestra. Colazione al di sotto delle aspettative con uova e croissant con supplemento. Parcheggi gratuiti nelle vicinanze introvabili. Parcheggi esterni alle mura a pagamento ma solo x residenti. Tutti gli altri nei parking sotterranei e sono estremamente costosi e distanti dalla struttura soprattutto se si viaggia con bagaglio al seguito. La direzione del b&b ci informa tempestivamente di una tariffa giornaliera agevolata di 24 euro. Parcheggiata l'auto intorno alle 18 la ritiriamo alle 10 del mattino seguente. Peccato che la proprietaria non riesce ad inviarci il QR code via mail perché non aveva linea internet. Allora ci propone di fare una foto del code apparso sul suo monitor e nonostante le avessi detto che non avrebbe funzionato lei ha insistito perché lo facessi. Ho tentato di spiegarle che senza il QR code avrei pagato molto di più della tariffa agevolata pur avendo sostato per sole 15 ore. Ed infatti ho speso 32 euro perché ovviamente il lettore non leggeva il QR code della foto. Neanche una scusa da parte loro. Poca trasparenza e molta supponenza da parte della proprietà. Mai più. Ovviamente sconsigliato a meno che non si sia disposti a scarpinare in salita con le valige e a spendere cifre assurde per il parcheggio.
