The staff were like family and very accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend your next stay here. They were very helpful in so many way, that I wanted to stay another night. They kept my belongings secure, and even helped me carry my bag to the train station. Best wishes to the Staff and many fortunes.
Lovely place, very nice rooms with very repairing showers, the staff, especially Estefany, were always attentive with all our needs. The breakfast was varied and served prontly The location is very strategic, near to every thing (only half a block from the train station!!) I had a very nice time in this hotel.
I was here for only a night so I can't really give a proper feedback. It really depends from the people you will find in the dorm, they were quiet annoying leaving lights on and the door open. But the hostel itself ha a nice young vibe, the staff is nice especially at breakfast. There is a common area you can use for working too, a breakfast area and they organize every day different activities. Nice terrace at the top with a nice view. My room was small but ok, with a small separate toilet and shower in it but unfortunately dirty and with wet floor. The window view was on the internal patio/reception so quiet noise too. There are lockers for your small bag and your personal stuff, don't forget the lock. Bed was nice and comfy, with light and socket. Perfect location, at the top of the main street, ofc quiet expensive in general but normal to be in Aguas Calientes. Breakfast was good and served at 4 or 4.30am so perfect for those that needs to hike or get the bus to Machu Picchu. Simple with scrambled eggs, juice, coffee and tea.
The hotel is fabulously located in the heart of Machu Picchu pueblo and is just a short stroll from the railway station. It consists of a series of whitewashed casitas scattered across 12 acres of sky forest. The rooms are lovely and appear to be individually decorated giving a real local flavour to it. The team at the hotel were lovely and so helpful. They were happy to arrange delivery of luggage to the station leaving us free to enjoy our free time without carting bags around with us. I thought the dining experience was very good whether that be dinner or breakfast. The lobby, bar and restaurant are all very tastefully furnished and provide a really enjoyable environment to spend a little free time. A really great option to stay in the pueblo.
This hotel was in a great location; in the center of town and close to the train station and bus stop. Bed was good; bathroom was nice; room even had a small refrigerator. Breakfast was plentiful including small pancakes; eggs; juices; fresh fruits.
The Andino was a welcome respite after a long day of hiking the Inca Trail and exploring Machu Picchu. I was traveling with my son and found the rooms comfortable, but as others have mentioned, they are on the small side. We had a double and if there'd been a 3rd person, we would have been pretty cramped. The shower is nice, but the water didn't get very hot for us. The outstanding things about the Andino are the staff and the location. The staff were amazing. Helpful, gracious, and very friendly. They helped us with a number of restaurant locations, helped us find our way to the train station and other spots of note in Aguas Calientes. The Andino is also centrally located to the train station and the bus stops for those traveling to MP and out of AC. I would recommend the Andino to those looking for an ease of location and don't need a luxury hotel for the night.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhen we originally booked here as we wanted to to be right next to the hot springs on top of the hill. Little did we know we were lucky to have been at the best hotel in this man made town! The hot springs are literally behind the hotel. Lots of shops will rent you a towel as well. The staff at Taypikala were excellent, friendly and very accommodating. For our entire stay they treated us as family. A special thank you to Melissa who went out her way to make our stay extraordinary!! We also wanted to note the complementary breakfast was great and the perfect fuel before our hike to Machu Picchu. Would highly recommend and will stay again on our next visit to Peru!
