"This is a nice hotel but didn't quite live up to my expectations in terms of furnishings and decor. The bedroom was a good size but rather plain with little on the walls, though the bed throw and curtains gave some colour. The bathroom was very small but the shower worked well. Similarly the dining room furniture and general appearance were a bit boring though there were 2 lovely murals showing the houses by the river. The furniture in the ' reading room' had been changed to dark brown. I had seen photos of red. Yes, it is in an old historic building but I had expected more luxury as it is a 4 star hotel.
Having said all that the guy on reception gave us a lovely welcome, and a map with recommendations of where to go. We arrived early and put our luggage in the storage room which was good. We needed to get to the airport early and the receptionist arranged the shuttle to take us, which was great. It was well worth the price. Breakfast was fine with a good variety of foods including SO many types of pastries and croissants. We had dinner in a nearby restaurant the night before as the dining room did not look welcoming and was very quiet.
All in all, a pleasant stay for the price we paid which was significantly less on trip com than on its own website."
"What a nice place to stay in central Pisa! It doesn't look much from outside, but as soon as you pass through the front door you find that you're in a quiet cool oasis (note: there is quite a long flight of stairs up to the rooms - no lift - so not great for those with mobility issues).
Our room was spacious and comfortable and, despite overlooking a small square with restaurants, very quiet at night (there's quad-glazing on the window). You can order breakfast, or just enjoy the snacks left for us in the room. There's a microwave and drink making set-up in the lounge which was very handy.
The owners are friendly and helpful and were happy for us to leave our luggage for a few hours on the last day.
Staff are on site only in the mornings, and initially we were a bit sceptical about the entry/check in process (done with a QR code online), but it all worked flawlessly.
We would happily stay here again if we visit Pisa in the future :-)"
"I had a lovely stay at this hotel — it’s clean, cozy, and feels very homey. The staff were amazing, especially Adiam, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. They even let us have breakfast after the official time, which really shows their thoughtfulness and hospitality.
We stayed in a room for four, and it was spacious and comfortable — not cramped at all. The location is perfect, just steps away from the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
One thing to note: it’s close to a hospital, so it might be a bit noisy at times for light sleepers.
But overall, I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Pisa!"
