Travelodge Shrewsbury Battlefield

Lovely places to stay very clean and peaceful. There's a pub in the same place that serves food just a short walk from the hotel. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble, especially Chris who's on the early shift.. wel done to all the staff

Arrived at hotel 15 minutes early but no staff available till exactly 3.00pm , and not in the least welcoming. Numerous dogs in the hotel and barking early in the morning. Would not choose to stay here again if it could be avoided.

Stopped off here for a night on our way to Wales, location is perfect just far enough away from the main road so no noise, burger King, petrol station and greene King pub all walking distance as well as a soft play for the kids. We only delt with one member of staff but she was lovely, check us in and then later gave us some extra pillows when we asked, she was very friendly and made us feel welcome but we didn't catch her name unfortunately. Room was clean and comfortable, tv had some lines going down the screen but wasn't a major issue,beds were comfy and we heard no noise all night. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Great little hotel. Reasonably priced and ideally located (for what I wanted). Lovely receptionist welcomed me and the check in was smooth. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again

Quite new Travelodge. Comfortable bed and large room. Useful to have a Greene King Pub next door. Conveniently located. However, with that convenience came noise from two busy roads. Very surprised as had read reviews where people had said it was quiet. It wasn’t. Also the door from reception was often left open so non-residents could enter the building. Not very safe when the reception was not manned

Lots of noise and banging going on, especially early in the morning. At times so hard our bed actually shook. Couple of different dogs barking. Important bits on the room were clean enough but a lot can be said for edges and ledges. Thick dust and cobwebs on the curtains. Something resembling dry snot stuck on the wall. Outside covered in litter and cigarette butts. Staff not particularly helpful, when they were around that is!!!! Definitely not a Travelodge I'd visit again

We had a very good stay here. Room clean and tidy everything you needed. Very pleasant staff. Also the fact the 2 Henry's pub was opposite was good. Excellent food there. But other outlets is burger king, Starbucks petrol station and spar groceries. This was ideal.

Basic as expected but spotlessly clean and quiet. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. (Carried my case upstairs without being asked). I've stayed several times and never been disappointed. Convenient location for Shrewsbury centre. Filling Station and eateries on site and retail parks close by.

Stayed at Battlefield Travelodge for 1 night and was immediately greated by the manager. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel and grounds. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.
