New Wave Shah Alam Hotel

I am very satisfied that there is a parking place and a nearby restaurant/mini market. The double queen room on the 3rd floor is neat and orderly, there is a window mirror 🤩 but I didn't have time to clean myself, so I changed THREE rooms, king and single beds, because my sister stayed the night there and I asked the hotel management to arrange a change of room for my request and I got a triple room on the first floor G as soon as there is a vacancy👍😍. FACILITIES are provided by the hotel, bath soap/tissues/bath shower, 24-hour heating / iron and those who want to wash their clothes have to go down to the G floor below. The best thing is to use this application to compare the prices and I get the promotional price from the hotel and I redeem the voucher on the Trip.com application

If I could be given a second chance, I wouldn't book this hotel. The room is full of small cockroaches and the air-conditioner is so dusty. I had to buy cockroach spray to kill the cockroaches. I had to wear my mask when I slept. This is a terrible experience. I booked three nights. During the first night, the receptionist asked us not to expect too much for the budget hotel. He brought us to another room. Still, there are cockroaches. I tried to call the complaint number but I could not reach the owner. I thought I could sleep well after spraying the room. The terrible thing is the room is so stuffy. In the early morning, I kept hearing the noise of vehicles from the toilet window. I could barely sleep. Trip agent tried to negotiate with the supplier and owner for getting the amount of remaining nights as I only stayed for one night. Still, the negotiation failed. I had to waste my money for this booking and fork out my money for another booking. I used to think that the customer's request could be heard. This experience taught me not to trust the reviews from the agency. The Google review is much more accurate. The agency should not include this type of hotel and it actually costs us an arm and leg. We put trust in the agency. However, it doesn't apply to all cases.

Good Place to stay.. Have a good sleep as well.. Recommended for those who wanna find rest place..

One staff at front desk not friendly and suddenly get angry with no reason. He said doesnt clear, i thought only me not hear what he said, but another costomer also doesnt understand what he said. When ask again, he raise his voice. When i ask question, he reply angryly. Idk what his problem. So i go seek help with another staff. He very friendly and really helpful. He said nicely and smile, explaining everything about the hotel. The location are strategic and the place are suitable with price. Kinda big. Thank you !

I would like to express our frustration in checking into the hotel. First of all, the hotel room provided isn't as per what was shown on your web page. Secondly, as we arrived there they keep saying the rooms were already occupied. We made full payment online and we were asked for a deposit of Rm10. Therefore there was a total of RM180. The room was so smelly(cigarette smell), the bed sheets were dirty, no lights and Air Condition weren't cold, the TV was broken, Toilet was dirty and the overall conditions were not acceptable. I did ask if they can spray air freshener in the room, and the supervisor replied NO. We then couldn't stay in that room and we have to check out and find another place to stay. When we asked for a refund the second day since we are cancelling the booking, they responded, " Sorry, you go back to the website agent and request there". I would like to seek a refund as we didn't stay in the hotel. AS TRAVELLER we have stayed at many budgeted and non-budgeted hotels and THIS HOTEL IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE!. I would like to get a Swift response from your customer on the refund or what is service recovery you can do for us.

Overall its good place to stay, the room is bigger than I thought and all the amenities are also good. The aircond, tv and hv private toilet ! Overall its good but improve the cleanliness of the room thank you ☺️

Sorry to stay .. I know this is budget hotel but I feel disappointed to select this hotel. The staff not friendly and I feel disappointed as the room, bathroom not clean. Towel also not clean, room not suitable for 4pax. I will not choose this hotel for upcoming booking.

Room was bad and smelly. Request for non-smoking room but they gave smoking room.
