Hotel du Rhone Seyssel

We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The setting along the river was gorgeous, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good (though not a lot of variety). We would rate the stay higher were it not for the fact that it took us about 30 min to get into the property when we arrived around 6PM or so. The door was locked, you could see the front desk though no one was there, we knocked loudly on both the front and rear entrances. We even flagged down two local people to see if they knew if the hotel was still open. Finally, I called the number posted on the door, and someone answered. Given language difficulties (French vs English), I wasn’t sure if we were connecting, so I handed the phone to one of the local helpful people who knew our situation. In any case, a lady (I think the owner) arrived within minutes from down the street and got us in quickly in a VERY cheerful (though curiously non-apologetic) manner. She said “her guy” should have been there to let us in. No matter …….. there were no heated exchanges and we ended up with a very nice visit. We walked across the river to eat at another hotel, since the Hotel Rhone restaurant was closed. All in all, we ended up with a good story!

Nice small boutique hotel perfect for Via Rhona biking. Room was good with a nice window view and warm well appointed bathroom. Expect passive-aggressive behavior from the lady at the front desk and the gentleman at the breakfast counter.

My husband and I visited the area and stayed in the hotel for a night. The room was super nice, modern and very comfortable. Very clean and warm for the winter night. Additionally, view from our room was amazing!

Absolutely loved this hotel!! Great location. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Pay a little extra for the river balcony view - so worth it!!!

Excellente literie, chambre très propre, calme, salle de bain impeccable, spacieuse, confortable ! Le restaurant sert de très jolis plats, le service est soigné, je recommande cet établissement sans réserve ! Le personnel est très sympathique et à l'écoute de toute demande.

hotel confortable, agréablement décoré avec style et idéalement placé . superbe Chambre avec terrasse et literie au top. La restauration est très bonne. carte dense avec tous les plats fait maisons. On sent une passion de la cuisine pour ce jeune coule de patron qui fournissent une cuisine fine et raffinné. Soucieux du goût Le dressage est parfait dans chaque détails. En plus, le prix est particulièrement abordable. Je recommande vivement pour toute personne aimant très bien mangé , à sa faim et pour un petit prix.

Accueil très agréable par un jeune homme qui nous a ouvert le garage pour les vélos et indiqué où garer la voiture. L'emplacement au bord du Rhône, sur une petite route calme nous a permis de passer une nuit tranquille. Les chambres sont d'une jolie grandeur et très propres. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et les produits de bonne qualité.
