Cerf Island Resort

Stayed for a few days at Cerf Island Resort. It was a marvelously relaxing place with great staff and lots of activities to do. Snorkeling above a reef just by the resort's beach was amazing and stuffing myself on the really very good food was a delight. The staff are fabulous too. Nothing is too much trouble. They even gave a giant tortiose as a guest. 😁

The resort offered everything I expected from a tropical destination - an exotic ambiance, tranquil setting, and secluded, yet not isolated, location. All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The food exceeded my expectations, both during breakfast and dinner time. One of my favorite things ended up being the boat transfers on request to the nearby smaller islands, so there were plenty of places to explore during my stay. The villas are cosy, charming, and most importantly, comfortable (a canopy bed is always a great touch).

My husband and I stayed at Cerf for the first week of our honeymoon. The island really is a slice of paradise, so beautiful and tranquil. The staff at Cerf were absolutely brilliant and the service was friendly and personal, nothing was too much, and they even let me borrow some bite cream until I could buy my own! Prakash was absolutely excellent, letting us know of the available activities on the day we arrived, booking the trip that we wanted to do and arranging for the boat to take us to Eden Island when we needed to venture off Cerf. The rooms/cabins themselves were spacious and clean and contained everything you might need re. tea/coffee facilities. We booked a couple's massage with Suri and Erika (sorry if I've spelt either of those incorrectly!) which was complete bliss and money well spent. Overall the resort was quiet during our stay, although it is by no means a big commercial place anyway, and the perfect getaway we needed for our honeymoon. For those who like to be outdoors, we would recommend trekking across the island at low tide to view the beach on the other side. We would also highly recommend the Reef Tour with Mason's Travel with a stop at Moyenne Island to see the giant tortoises - such a great day out! The only things that were missing for us were that you had to pay to get wifi in the rooms and that the menu was not all that varied if you were staying there for more than a week. Dinner was a set menu that you had to choose from during the day but the restaurant would cook something from the main menu if there was nothing you liked. Otherwise, our stay at Cerf Island Resort was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet Island getaway for their holiday or honeymoon.

Cerf Island is a small island, and that's an advantage—it's a peaceful and uncrowded place just a few miles from Mahe. The villas of the resort are nestled in the unique tropical forest of this island. As for the details: the service is exceptional, and the menu caters to any taste. Additionally, there are exceptional snorkeling and kayaking opportunities. Plus, guests can easily access motorboat transfers at any time.

We’ve been for 6 days in Cerf Resort. Cerf is a small island 3 km from Mahe and situated in a marina national park. Snorkeling is amazing! An island is w/o cars or other infrastructure, resort have separate villas in a tropical forest. Beautiful place, very friendly staff. Real paradise! Strongly recommended! One of the most beautiful places in Seychelles we’ve stayed in.

Very nice stay! The rooms are spacious, the staff is very kind and accommodating. Beautiful place for good rest and fun activities. We stayed a full week and we could enjoy the facilities : kayak, snorkelling, stand up paddles, the 2 pools and the 2 beaches

Good stay at the hotel, welcoming and very helpful staff. Extraordinary setting, incredible panoramic view of the island of MAHÉ. Many excursion opportunities to visit the Seychelles Islands. The Seychelles are very welcoming and kind.
