Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Akron/Seville

Nice atmosphere - rooms didn't feel claustrophobic - they were clean - the looked nice check in and checkout times are nice - breakfast was the average hotel breakfast sup there was a server - not a big deal for me - kind of feel the grem factor is limited since everyone isn't touching everything

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Though, the hallway and room smelled funny (musty/funky of sorts).

What a gem! Would stay there again in a second if we were passing through.

The hotel is not bad overall, however there has been no recent updates. When we went to shower it took quite some time for the shower water to turn hot.

Hawthorne Suites Akron Seville: the entire hotel seemed squeaky-clean! Even the elevator smelled fresh! The room was large and well-equipped with a small dining table and kitchenette. The bed was on the soft side but comfortable. Service was great, very pleasant and helpful. Signage on the hotel AND on the street was not lit; as a result we initially drove past the turn because the other hotel sign was visible but Hawthorne's was dark and we had arrived at night. Only a few casual dining options nearby. Breakfast was paltry compared to other places we stayed: scrambled eggs and hash browns doled out by staff, bread/English muffins. No fresh fruit, cereal or yogurt that we saw. On the whole, a good stay and I'd stay there again.

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. My only issue is that the hotel seems to be in the middle of a small industrial park, and places to eat, (other than 1 or 2 fast food joints) are very limited. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay, and everyone I dealt with was friendly.

Convenient location and parking. Hotel was clean. Staff was courteous. Our room was large. Even though it was thanksgiving morning they still had a cold breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Our stay was our 39 anniversary celebration. We decided to visit one of our favorite ministries, The American Mission Center in Valley City. Due to the fact that we planned to stay three nights we wanted a very nice hotel but also reasonable. We found one Hawthorn Suites Excellent service. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. The gentleman at the desk said no problem and gave us a different room which was actually an upgrade! The room was lovely. Roomy, clean and very comfy beds. The breakfast was good and the attendant very sweet. Mary Beth was at the desk the rest of our stay and she is a delight. Very helpful at guiding us to places to dine as well as attractions. It is getting a face lift soon and that will only enhance this gem of a hotel. As any business open to the public they occasionally do need this after the wear and tear and sometimes abuse these properties incur. Would we stay here again? In a heart beat. Loved our stay it felt almost like home.
